Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings and happy Feast of the Birth of John the Baptist! I hope everyone’s day has started off well. My prayer of blessing today is that God’s blessings will be upon you, your work, your ministry, those whom you meet and those whom you love! May you enjoy the places you go to, the people you encounter and the experiences that you have and may you also know that as you journey through this day you are in my prayers!
Remember, “Seek God and you will find God and every good thing as well!” (Meister Eckhart) May you be rich in the spirit of John the Baptist today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O God, it is hard sometimes to believe that you are really present in this world of ours. But with the help of your grace we do believe it! So, in the spirit of your faithful prophet, St. John the Baptist today, please help us to live our life in such a way that it will be easier for others to recognize you. When we find doubt, help us to bring a little light. Where we find discouragement, let us be a ray of hope in the darkness. To those who feel estranged and alienated from you and your Church, let us be like a bridge and when we encounter people who have been hurt or feel misunderstood, grace us with the wisdom to leave only the imprint of your healing love and compassion. Loving God, wherever we go and to whomsoever we meet, help us to be an instrument of your compassion, love and peace. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by Sr. Bernice Kuper, S.P.)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Friday has started off well wherever you are and in whatever you are doing. My prayer of blessing is that God will bless these morning and afternoon hours of your Friday so that they will go quickly and bring you into the gift of another weekend. I pray that you and those you love will be blessed by God’s Love as we celebrated it in the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus today. If you are traveling be safe, if you are busy working be safe. Most of all may you be blessed with a Friday you can enjoy and may it be filled with interesting people, wonderful experiences, fun, joy, faith, hope, mercy and the presence of God! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: We come to you Jesus on the Feast of your Sacred Heart, for you are our refuge and our hope. You are the strength that keeps us going through all that is wrong in our lives, the forgiveness for all our faults and failings, the comfort for all our struggles, the peace for all our anxieties, the enhancement for all our imperfections, and the hope in all our prayers.
You are the only one who never wearies of us and who offers us grace in the midst of our faults, because you love us so much with an infinite love. You are the one always in search of us especially when we follow a different path. So, we ask you, loving Jesus, to have mercy on us and do with us, and be for us, and be within us, whatever you want. We give our hearts to you, hoping that the gift of love that flows from your most Sacred Heart will never leave us to face the struggles and difficulties of life alone. Amen. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope your day has started off well. I hope your day will be filled with the presence of God and your journey through it is guided by God’s grace.
My prayer of blessing for you today is that you will have a great day and that you know that all of you continue to be in my prayers. May God’s blessings be upon your work, your travel, your encounters with others, your struggling moments, your smiling moments and upon all that you do and all whom you meet…Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all and welcome to summer! I hope your Wednesday and your summer has started off well. My prayer is that God’s blessings will be upon all of you and your journey through this day. May the day be rich in experiences, in people, in smiles, in laughter, in fun, in love, in strength and in God’s grace, in joy and in peace. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: Eternal and loving God, it is so easy for us to worship ourselves, to do things so that others see and think highly of us. If we live our life this way, forgive us. If we trust in our possessions, in our things, in our actions that are seen and in the glory that they bring us rather than in you, forgive us. Heal the fear, the doubt and the insecurity that may create faith in the wrong things. Restore a wholesome perspective that put you at the center. We pray that through your grace you will help us to live life around the lasting values of humble prayer, cheerful service and our hope in you, our loving God. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your morning has started off well and that this will be a good day for you in every way. My prayer of blessing this day is that during this last full day of spring will be enlivening and life giving. My hope filled prayer is that your day will be rich with God’s blessings upon your work, your travel, your encounters with others, upon those whom you love and upon you! And that you will take some time this day to pray for those who have hurt you. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: God of all hope, renew in us today the courage to live life to its fullest. Help us to especially stand for and live out the values that Jesus taught us, humility, courage, compassion, mercy, forgiveness and love. Grace us with your wisdom to know how to best live our life in you. When opposition comes our way help us to not give in to fear and cowardice, help us not to strike back with violence and anger, help us not to react out of pride and judgment. Help us to be humble, prayerful people of faith, humble people alive with hope and ready to offer your love. Amen!
