O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of All People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.

May prayer of blessing today comes from a prayer by St. Therese of Lisieux – May there be peace within us today and every day. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be confident knowing that we are a child of God. Let this presence settle into our bones and allow our soul the freedom to sing dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us. Amen!

Today January 30th is always a special day in my life. One hundred and seven years ago my father was born. Now he only made it through 67 of those years but that was enough to fall in love with my mother and together they by the grace of God gave life to three children who are most grateful for their love and the gift of life! So, Dad, Happy Birthday Day and thanks!
 
I would also like to send a shout out to my nephew-in-law as today is his birthday. Happy Birthday, Jurek! Many blessings today and always and I hope you will get a chance to celebrate at least a little!
 
Wherever you are, on this second to last day of January, whatever this Sunday will bring into your life – I offer this prayer and blessing for you today... This is the Day that God has made let us rejoice and be glad. May there always be work for us to do.  May our pockets and purses always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine warm on our windowpanes. May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of family, a loved one and a friend always be near and may God fill our hearts with gladness and love that we in turn can share! May God’s blessing be upon us all today and always. I offer a simple prayer of blessing on this Saturday that all of us will be blessed with the grace of God’s presence in our journey through this day. May all we do be touched by God’s Spirit. May our day offer us time for rest and relaxation after a long and busy week.
