Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these late January days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Once again as I did yesterday, I would ask you to keep the Passionists of the Province of St. Paul of the Cross in your prayers today as they gather by Zoom to continue the process of Chapter which will take place in May. They gather again today to continue the process of pre-chapter which started yesterday. I have chosen not to participate directly in the pre-chapter or chapter, but I have promised to pray for all involved throughout the process. So, I would ask you to join me in prayer for the Passionists as they reflect on our life and look toward the future. My prayer of blessing is once again simple I pray today for God’s blessing upon all of us and I pray in the hope everyone will have a great Wednesday. However, if our day has started slow, or disorganized, or in a panic, or challenged by the weather, may we not worry, and may it all come together by day's end! If our day started with peace and purpose may these two graces, see us through to the end of the day! If our day started with struggle and tension may we find moments of peace and calm that sustain us through the day. If our day has started without God, may we let God find us so that we will not walk and work alone! Blessings to all and happy Feast of Timothy and Titus! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: May there be peace within today and every day. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be confident knowing that we are a child of God. Let this presence settle into our bones and allow our soul the freedom to sing dance, praise and love. It is there for every one of us. Amen! (Adapted from a Prayer by St Therese of Lisieux)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all and happy Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle! To all who might bear the name Paul, like myself or who might find St. Paul and this feast dedicated to his conversion a source of inspiration and strength, like myself, many blessings and much peace.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I always celebrate the gift of St. Paul whenever I can. Today is one of my favorite feasts throughout the year. I will remember St. Paul as I celebrated mass this afternoon and I will draw upon the gift of the presence of St. Paul in my life and celebrate that gift as I go through this day. I would ask you to keep the Passionists of the Province of St. Paul of the Cross in your prayers today and tomorrow as they gather by Zoom to begin the process of Chapter which will take place in May. The gather today and tomorrow is called pre-chapter. I will not be participating in the pre-chapter or chapter, but I have promised to pray for all involved throughout the process. So, I would ask you to join me in prayer for the Passionists as they reflect on our life and look toward the future. My blessing prayer is very simple this Tuesday - May the spirit of St. Paul the Apostle be with all of us throughout this day. May his energy enliven our work, our ministry, our living of life today and always. Many blessings and remember with St. Paul's help we too can get up when we are knocked down and life will be better because we do! Have a great Tuesday everyone and may the spirit of St. Paul be with you. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Glorious Saint Paul, most zealous Apostle, Martyr for the love of Christ, give us a deep faith, a steadfast hope, and a burning love for our Lord. So that we can proclaim with you, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” Help us to put on Christ, as God’s chosen ones, clothed with compassion, kindness, humility and patience. Make us “ambassadors for Christ,” always proclaiming our salvation with faith, hope and love. Help us to seek the unity of all members of Christ’s body. Amen.
