Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all! I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these late January days with faith and hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is a simple one that God will bless us as we wander through this winter’s day. Helping us to keep our energy high and giving us the grace to hang on so that the everyday struggles do not get us down. I pray today that God will bless us all with much hope, strong faith. lively joy and many measures of love! Enjoy the day, stay warm, be safe, healthy and above all may God bless your day with the grace to be the light! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O God of all life, direct our hearts throughout this day in your wonderful Spirit of hope. So that we may always know it is you at the center of all we are, all we want, and all we are meant to be. Keep us always faithful to your everlasting Spirit of Life that we might overcome our differences and become a house united in your Love. Help us to be a people who honor life from its first moment after conception to it very last breathe. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all and happy Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle! To all who might bear the name Paul, like myself or who might find St. Paul and this feast dedicated to his conversion a source of inspiration and strength, like myself, many blessings and much peace.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I always celebrate the gift of St. Paul whenever I can. Today is one of my favorite feasts throughout the year. I will remember St. Paul as I celebrated mass this morning and I will draw upon the gift of the presence of St. Paul in my life and celebrate that gift as I go through this day. Here in New York, we await a winter storm that is to bring us first snow and then rain. I don’t know how bad or disruptive this storm will be, but the very suggestion of it has people on edge. I have things to do today, and I am hoping to celebrate St. Paul at least a little later today so I will go about my day and deal with whatever the storm brings or doesn’t bring. If you are in the New York metropolitan area or are in the path of the storm I hope it does not disrupt your day too much. My blessing prayer is very simple this Wednesday - May the spirit of St. Paul the Apostle be with all of us throughout this day. May his energy enliven our work, our ministry, our living of life today and always. Many blessings and remember with St. Paul's help we too can get up when we are knocked down and life will be better because we do! Have a great Wednesday everyone and may the spirit of St. Paul be with you. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Glorious Saint Paul, most zealous Apostle, Martyr for the love of Christ, give us a deep faith, a steadfast hope, and a burning love for our Lord. So that we can proclaim with you, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” Help us to put on Christ, as God’s chosen ones, clothed with compassion, kindness, humility and patience. Make us “ambassadors for Christ,” always proclaiming our salvation with faith, hope and love. Help us to seek the unity of all members of Christ’s body. Amen.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing is once again a simple one. I pray today for God’s blessing upon all of us and I pray in the hope everyone will have a great Tuesday. However, if our day has started slow, or disorganized, or in a panic, or challenged by the weather, may we not worry, and may it all come together by day's end! If our day started with peace and purpose may these two graces, see us through to the end of the day! If our day started with struggle and tension, may we find moments of peace and calm that sustain us through the day. If our day has started without God, may we let God find us so that we will not walk and work alone! Blessings to all! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: May there be peace within today and every day. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be confident knowing that we are a child of God. Let this presence settle into our bones and allow our soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for every one of us. Amen! (Adapted from a Prayer by St Therese of Lisieux)

May God enliven within us the joy, beauty, the delicious banquet of God’s kingdom, God’s love so that we may bring God’s presence to the world. Many blessings and much peace today and remember to give God a little time today. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Helper of those who turn to you, light of those in the dark, creator of all that grows from seed, promoter of all spiritual growth, have mercy, O Lord, on us and make us temples fit for yourself. In your great mercy, in your boundless compassion, wash away our sins, through Jesus Christ, healer of our souls. Through him may all glory be given, all power and honor and praise, throughout the unending succession of ages. Amen (Adapted from an Early Christian Prayer)
