Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all. I hope and pray you are navigating through these Lenten days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that all of us remain focused on our faith, on our relationship with God and on all the wonderful things God has done for us. May we never give in to hopelessness and look elsewhere to a god that we or the world creates. Many blessing to all today. May your Thursday be touched with hope and joy. May you journey through this day in safety and through the presence and grace of God continue to be healthy at day’s end! If you are in need of God’s healing, may you be so touched by God today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Compassionate God, at times our hearts get out of focus. When this happens everything becomes an effort, life is difficult, and we struggle to be faithful. In these moments remind us of Your Son’s words “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God” Do not let us be afraid and thus give in to life’s troubles and create our own molten calf. Rather help us, stay close to you, by reaching out to others, doing something creative with passion, and always living the fullness of life. Enliven us always in Your Holy Spirit of hope, so that we may live life with Passion together. And may the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Amen.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today goes out to everyone that you may encounter the love of God in some special way today; through the gesture of another person, through an experience of life, through an encounter with God within yourself. May God’s love enliven a well-spring of joy within you that you can share with all you meet today. And may you find the joy and mercy of God within you and share it with the world! May today be a day of many blessings and a day without too much stress! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, you call us to be in love with you just as you are in love with us. Give us the grace to not be afraid of your gifts of love and mercy in our lives. Help us not to fear your invitation to intimacy and may we never hesitate to share your love with another. Grant us the strength to never forget the tenderness of your joyful loving presence and to trust that you will bring us home. Amen!

And may God’s grace change the hearts that are set on war and violence in the Ukraine to hearts of peace. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus, you were rich, yet, for our sakes, you became poor. You promised that whatever is done for the least of your sisters and brothers is done for you. Give us grace to be always willing to provide for the needs of others, that your kingdom of service, mercy and love may extend throughout the world. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. Augustine of Hippo)
