Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all. On this Feast of the Visitation, I send special greetings to all mothers, especially those who are carrying life at this time or those who are hoping and praying to have the chance to carry new life but are struggling to do so at this time. Through the spirit of Elizabeth and Mary I ask God’s blessing upon all mothers for the gifts of hope and love that you give to the world. Mothers are truly special people. May those who want to be mothers be touched in a special way today by the spirits of Mary and Elizabeth, remember nothing is impossible for God!
 
I hope you are continuing to navigate through last day of May and closing days of the Easter Season with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

If we can take sometime today to smell the flowers, to enjoy the colors of creation and to let ourselves be loved! May God bless our journey through this day with his grace and presence in whatever we do, in whatever or whomever we encounter and in the living of this day. let us be mindful as we live this day of those who gave their lives at some moment in time so that we might live in freedom and peace. Today, Memorial Day, is a day to remember all who have given their lives over the years is service of our country, protecting our freedom. We pray that someday we will find a way to live in peace so that in the words of the Prophet Isaiah 2:4, “They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; One nation shall not raise the sword against another, nor shall they train for war again.” Remembering all who gave their lives in hope of peace!
 
My prayer of blessing today is that our Memorial Day, our Monday, our week will be blessed with many wonderful and life-giving experiences. As I pause for my Sunday morning prayer, I call upon a little saying that I have always liked, “Prayer may not change things for you, but it for sure changes you for things.” So, my prayer of blessing for all of you this Sunday morning is to simply say a little prayer for you that you will be ready for all the things you face today and that whatever you encounter will be a blessing from God that will enliven, energize and gift your day! If you are traveling today, travel safe; if you are relaxing and enjoying a Sunday, do it with energy and enthusiasm, and if you encounter struggles and difficulties today remember you are not alone God always walks with you!

I want to continue to pray for the people of the Ukraine, the people killed or injured in the Buffalo, New York shooting and the children, teachers killed in the Uvalde, Texas shooting. I also want to remember all family members and friends who morn the loss of their family members and friends in these shootings, and all the children who will have to grow-up and live with the terror of these events. I also pray for an end to violence, especially gun violence!
 
My prayer of blessing is that this will be a day blessed in God's presence, grace and love. That it will be a day bless with wonderful experiences, safe travel, if you are traveling, and the rest and relaxation that will help you to enjoy the gift of your life! May you have peaceful experiences, life-giving encounters and time to encounter the presence of God in your life! It is the Saturday of the Memorial Day weekend, so we also want to prayer for all who sacrificed their lives for our nation and our world over the years. Those who fought for freedom, liberty and peace and gave the ultimate price of their life. May they now rest with God. May our prayers find their way into your heart. Helps us to trust that you will answer them not so that our will be done but your will. Grace us with hearts that look beyond ourselves to others.
