Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer…
 
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of All People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.

My prayer of blessing today is that we all will have a good day rich in the many gifts of summer and the presence of God. May our day be filled with many blessings wherever we are, upon whomever we encounter and in whatever we are doing. My prayer of blessing today rests in the spirits of the saints we honor, St. Peter and St. Paul. I pray that the spirits of St. Peter and St. Paul may be with all of us today. May we be blessed with the spirit of faith to help us on this journey through life. May we be blessed with the spirit of hope to get us through these rough times. May we be blessed with the spirit of love to remind us in whose image and likeness we are created, how special we are and that we are never alone. May we be blessed with the spirit of strength to not be afraid to proclaim the Good News and to not be afraid to make a mistake. I will be celebrating my first public mass outside of the taping day masses that I have celebrated for The Sunday Mass, at noon today. It feels good getting back into the routine of reflecting on the readings to share the Word of God and Eucharist with others!

May we be blessed with the spirit of love to remind us in whose image and likeness we are created in, how special we are and that we are never alone. ​Today’s Prayer: O God, you love us not in some aloof, impersonal way, but with the cherishing love a good mother pours out on her children; with the adoring love a good father delights to give the children in his life. With the disciplining love good parents give their children, with the protecting love shepherds shower on their lambs. Your love for us now is gift-love, faithful, committed, unchanging, inextinguishable. Grant us the grace to believe, to follow, to choose, to experience this love even when it is difficult, even when it does not make sense, even when everyone else says differently. Grant us the hope of your eternal love so that we can keep our hands on the plow always look ahead. Amen!
