Today's Blessing and Pope Francis' Prayer during a time of Virus...

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these early days of Summer with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer…

O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of All People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.

We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.
(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis)

My prayer of bless for you today is that God may bless us today with a day that will help us to look at the positive in life not the negative. May God bless us with a vision of hope and not despair, with the grace to believe that the impossible can become of the possible. May God bless us with the time today to look around with wonder and amazement and not cynicism and negativity! Know that wherever you are, whatever you are doing and whomever you are with – you are in my prayers today and always! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Eternal and loving God, it is so easy for us to worship ourselves, to do things so that others see and think highly of us. If we live our life this way, forgive us. If we trust in our possessions, in our things, in our actions that are seen and in the glory that they bring us rather than in you, forgive us. Heal the fear, the doubt and the insecurity that may create faith in the wrong things. Restore a wholesome perspective that put you at the center. We pray that through your grace you will help us to live life around the lasting values of humble prayer, cheerful service and our hope in you, our loving God. Amen!

My prayer of blessing today rests in the spirits of the saints we honor, St. Peter and St. Paul. I pray that the spirits of St. Peter and St. Paul may be with all of us today. May we be blessed with the spirit of faith to help us on this journey through life. May we be blessed with the spirit of hope to get us through any difficult times. May we be blessed with the spirit of love to remind us in whose image and likeness we are created, how special we are and that we are never alone. May we be blessed with the spirit of strength to not be afraid to proclaim the Good News and to not be afraid to make a mistake. Through the spirits of St. Peter and St. Paul may we know that God is with us always and will never leave us to face your perils alone! Blessed, holy, and healthy Tuesday everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

My prayer of blessing for all of us today is that this day, this new work week, or vacation week will be blessed with the rich presence of God in our life. May we find that presence in the people we meet, in the places we go, in the experience we have and most importantly within ourselves. Many blessings today, have a great day and please know my prayers go with you today and always. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O Lord our God, grant us grace to desire you with a whole heart, so desiring you we may seek you with a whole heart and find you; and so finding you, may we love you; and loving you, may we hate those sins which separate us from you, for the sake of Jesus. Today’s Prayer: O God, you love us not in some aloof, impersonal way, but with the cherishing love a good mother pours out on her children; with the adoring love a good father delights to give the children in his life. With the disciplining love good parents give their children, with the protecting love shepherds shower on their lambs. Your love for us now is gift-love, faithful, committed, unchanging, inextinguishable. Grant us the grace to believe, to follow, to choose, to experience this love even when it is difficult, even when it does not make sense, even when everyone else says differently. Grant us the hope of your eternal love so that we can keep our hands on the plow always look ahead. Amen!

Thank you for your prayers yesterday, the weeding of my niece and nephew-in-law, Bridget and Alex was beautiful. The weather was great and I believe a great time was had by all who attended. Blessings upon Bridget and Alex as they begin this part of the journey through life together.

My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless our day, so that we may be gifted and blessed with smiles, laughter, family, friends, fun and peace today! May we be safe and healthy through all our encounters and endeavors. May we have a great day and may we be blessed with God’s joy in whatever we do and in whomever we encounter and may it be found within each of us today! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Lord, grant that I may always allow myself to be guided by you, always follow your plains, and perfectly accomplish your holy will. Grant that in all things, great and small, today and all the days of my life, I may do whatever you require of me. Help me to respond to the slightest prompting of your grace, so that I may be your trustworthy instrument for your honor. May your will be done in time and eternity by me, in me, and through me. Amen. (Prayer by St. Teresa of Avila)
