Today's Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing is that God’s blessings will be upon all of us today that our day will be filled with many positives and that the negatives will only be fleeting moments. May the richness of God’s grace and blessings be upon all of us, upon everyone we encounter and upon everyone we love! May there be many words, signs and people of encouragement in our life today! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Grant us, O God, a mind to know you, a heart to seek you, the wisdom to find you, behavior pleasing to you, faithful diligence in waiting for you, and the hope of finally embracing you. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by St. Thomas Aquinas)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My blessing prayer for today is that God who searches us and knows us, when we sit and when we stand, when we go on journeys and when we rest, will help us to be open and honest with all whom we encounter today, so that the wonderful knowledge of his presence will be revealed to us and led us toward a hopefulness that at times seem too lofty to attain because of our own ambitions and selfishness yet are granted to the merest of children. Come, Lord into our hearts with your gentle justice and constant goodness so that we might be your gift to all whom we meet. Have a blessed, holy, safe, healthy, and great Tuesday everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
I arise today Through the strength of heaven; Light of the sun, Splendor of fire, Speed of lightning, Swiftness of the wind, Depth of the sea, Stability of the earth, Firmness of the rock. I arise today Through God's strength to pilot me; God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me, God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me, God's word to speak for me, God's hand to guard me, God's way to lie before me, God's shield to protect me, God's hosts to save me Afar and anear, Alone or in a mulitude. Christ shield me today Against wounding Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in the eye that sees me, Christ in the ear that hears me. I arise today Through the mighty strength Of the Lord of creation. Amen! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is adapted from the Irish tradition - May God bless all of you today so the road rises up to meet you and makes your journeys swift and easy. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face. And if the rain must fall may it be soft upon the fields and upon you. And may you be truly blessed by God holding you in the palm of his hand throughout this day and always! Have a great day everyone! May it truly be blessed with many wonderful experiences, may gifted and loving people! Enjoy your Monday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, teach us to be generous to serve you as you deserve to be served, to give without counting the cost, to fight without fear of being wounded, to work without seeking rest and to spend ourselves without expecting any reward but the knowledge that we are doing your holy will. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. Ignatius of Loyola)

That our Sunday will be rich in rest, good encounters with people, smiles, laughter, and love. That our Sunday will be graced with God’s presence through nature, people and quite moment of solitude. That our Sunday will find us giving God at least a few moments of our time and that our Sunday will prepare us to embrace the journey of life that is ahead of us with purpose, meaning, joy, hope and love! Have a great Sunday everyone and Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, Source of all mercy! We acknowledge your sovereign power. While recalling the wasted years that are past, we believe that you, our Lord, can in an instant turn loss into gain. We firmly believe that you can do all things. Please restore to us the time lost, giving us your grace, your blessing, your mercy and your love, both now and in the future, that we may appear before you as a foundation stone of your faith community. Amen! (A prayer adapted from a prayer by St. Teresa of Avila)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Today is the thirty-eighth anniversary of my religious profession of vows with the Passionists. Thirty-eight years ago, along with six other men, I made my first vows as a Passionist. It was a very hot humid day, but a wonderful day in my life. Thirty-eight years later there are three of us left as vowed Passionists and I have no regrets being one of them. The other four men from that day ended up taking different paths in life eventually, but I would like to think they are still Passionist in their own way. Three of us, Melvin, Chris and myself continue our journey as Passionists. I ask God’s blessing on all who took vows August 22, 1982 wherever we are in life at this moment! A special shout out to Melvin and Chris – blessings to you both and I hope you will take a moment to celebrate at least a little today! Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing for all of us today is that our Saturday will be a restful and relaxing far from the busyness that life often heaps upon us. I pray we will have had a good Saturday whether you were working, vacationing, traveling or just trying to make it through these unusual days. I also pray that our day will be blessed with people that will gift our life with laughter, smiles and much joy. And let us not forget to give a little time to God this weekend. I am sure we can all spare a little time and God will appreciate hearing from us! Enjoy your Saturday. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr.
