Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I would like to send a shout-out to my niece Kelly on her Birthday – Happy Birthday Kelly! Many blessings today and always. Have a great Birthday! I offer a simple and peaceful blessing to all today – May our good and gracious God, bless us all as we journey through this last day of October and as many celebrate the holiday of Halloween, especially children. May God bless us all with gratitude as we journey through this day. May God bless us with safety if we will be out and about celebrating. May God bless us with joy and fun. And may God bless us with the richness of joy, hope and the goodness of God’s presence. May today be filled with Spirit and life so that you will always find peace by living in the presence of God! Have a blessed, holy, safe, and healthy Sunday! Don’t forget to give God a little time today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer:
Fall in Love Nothing is more practical than finding God, than falling in Love in a quite absolute, final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, whom you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in Love, stay in love, and it will decide everything. (Often attributed to Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ (1907–1991), but by Joseph Whelan, SJ) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these final days of October with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As I mentioned at the beginning of Today’s Prayer today is the Anniversary of my mother birth into eternal life. And so, I remember her in thankfulness for the gift of life that she and dad gave me, for the wisdom and knowledge she gave me during her time on earth, for her faithfulness and for her eternal spirit that continue to be a presence in my life. I trust in her eternal presence and spirit to be with me and continue to guide me on my journey through this life. My prayer of blessing for all of us today – Loving God bless us with a steadfast heart, which no unworthy affection may drag downwards; bless us with an unconquered heart, which no tribulation can wear out; bless us with an upright heart, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bless us with the understanding to know you, bless us with diligence to seek you, bless us with the wisdom to find you, and bless us with a faithfulness will help us to embrace your love in our life. I pray this blessing for all my family and friends and anyone in need this day through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen! Have a blessed, holy, safe, and healthy Saturday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: (Remembering my mother today on the tenth anniversary of her passing.) – Good Saint Rita, during your entire life on earth you found your happiness by following the will of God. Help us to be as trusting of God in all of what God asks of us this day and always. Help us this day to give ourselves to God as you did, without limit, without fear, without counting the cost. Help us to be – generous in serving the needs of others, patient in all difficulties, forgiving toward all who hurt us. Help us to learn more deeply the great mystery of the Cross of Jesus, so that by embracing it as you did, we may come to experience its power to heal and to save. Amen (Adapted from a Prayer to St. Rita of Cascia)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing for everyone today is adapted from a prayer known as Saint Patrick's Breastplate – I ask God’s blessing be upon all of us today so that Christ will be with us; Christ will be before us; Christ will be behind us; Christ will be in us; Christ will be beneath us; Christ will be above us; Christ will be on our right; Christ will be on our left; Christ will be where we lie; Christ will be where we sit; Christ will be where we arise; Christ will be in the hearts of every person who thinks of us; Christ will be in the mouth of every person who speaks of us; Christ will be in every eye that sees us; Christ will be in every ear that hears us; God’s blessings through Christ be upon all of us this day! Have a great Friday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Grant us peace, goodness, and blessing; life, grace and kindness; justice and mercy. Our Father, bless us all together with the light of your presence, for in the light of your presence you give us law and life, love and kindness, justice and mercy, blessing and peace. And in your eyes it is good to bless your people with great strength and peace. Blessed are you, Lord, who blesses your people with peace. Amen. (Traditional Jewish Prayer)
