Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all and welcome to the last day of November! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will be with us as we enter this new day. May God bless all our endeavors today, all our meetings and encounters with others, all our projects, work and responsibilities today. May God bless our busyness and our quiet time. May God bless us and all whom we love with a day filled with his grace, hope, joy, love and peace. May God also bless us with a faith-filled journey through this day, through Advent and always! Have a holy and blessed Monday everyone. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O God, you keep us waiting for the right time in which to discover who we are, where we must go, who will be with us, and what we must do. And in all of this, you keep us. Through hard questions with no easy answers; through failing where we hoped to succeed and making an impact when we felt we were useless; through the patience and the dreams and the love of others, you keep us. Thank you for the keeping time, now and forever. Amen. (A Prayer from the Iona Community Worship Book)
Today’s Prayer: Come, long-expected Jesus. Excite in us a wonder at the wisdom and power of your Father and ours. Receive our prayer as part of our service of the Lord who enlists us in God's own work for justice.
Come, long-expected Jesus. Excite in us a hunger for peace: peace in the world, peace in our homes, and peace in ourselves. Come, long-expected Jesus. Excite in us a joy responsive to God's joy. We seek God’s will, so we can serve with gladness, joy, hope, and love. Come, long-expected Jesus. Excite in us the joy and love and peace that is right to bring to the manger of our Lord. Enliven in us, too, sober reverence for the God who acted there, hearty gratitude for the life begun there, and spirited resolution to serve the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, whose advent we hail. Amen. (Adapted from a traditional Advent Prayer) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday blessings and greetings to all, Happy New Year and Happy Advent! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thanksgiving and Thursday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your day is starting off well. I pray that you are being safe today even though your first thought was to gather with many. We need to be responsible for and respectful of life especially when it comes to others. Let us hope and pray this is the only Thanksgiving we will need to spend distant from others.
A special shout out to my niece Sarah on her birthday – Sarah, Happy Birthday! Many blessings today and always. Have a great day! Today, my prayer of blessing will be one that I have offered for a number of Thanksgivings. This Thanksgiving Day I pray that you will always find the blessing of thankfulness in your life. – God of all blessings, source of all life, giver of all grace. We thank you for the gift of life: for the breath that sustains life, for the food of this earth that nurtures life, for the love of family and friends without which there would be no life. We thank you for the mystery of creation: for the beauty that the eye can see, for the joy that the ear may hear, for the unknown that we cannot behold filling the universe with wonder, for the expanse of space that draws us beyond the definitions of our selves. We thank you for setting us in communities: for families who nurture our becoming, for friends who love us by choice, for companions at work, who share our burdens and daily tasks, for strangers who welcome us into their midst, for people from other lands who call us to grow in understanding, for children who lighten our moments with delight, for the unborn, who offer us hope for the future. We thank you for this day: for life and one more day to love, for opportunity and one more day to work for justice and peace, for neighbors and one more person to love and by whom be loved, for your grace and one more experience of your presence, for your promise: to be with us, to be our God, and to give salvation. For these and all blessings, we give you thanks, eternal, loving God, through Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. May the blessing of thankfulness be with you as you journey through this Thanksgiving Day and always! I pray that today will be filled with thoughts prayers for family and friends who are most important in our lives and for our nation and world as we fight the viruses of Covid and hate! Be safe, healthy, and well today and always. Pray for peace in our families, our cities, our nations, our World and in ourselves. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God of all thankfulness, your gifts of love and goodness are infinite, help us to pause this day and every day with gratitude for your kindness, mercy and love. Open our hearts to have concern for every person so that all may share your gifts. Finally help us to always recognize your gifts and return to give thanks! Amen!
