Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are navigating through these April Easter days with faith and hopefulness for the future!
As we begin our Tuesday and continue our journey through this Easter season, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless us all with the energy, the spirit and the enthusiasm to continue with hope this journey of Easter and life. That God will bless us with a joy for life, for others and for ourselves. And that whatever we do, however we are navigating through life these days we will be touched by the joy and mercy that they bring! Have a blessed, holy, safe and healthy Tuesday everyone and may your day be graced with the warmth of the sun and the beauty of the colors of Spring! Peace in Christ’s Passion and the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer:
Spirit of Christ, bless us. Body of Christ, save us. Blood of Christ, enliven us. Water from the side of Christ, wash us. Passion of Christ, strengthen us. O good Jesus, hear us. Within your wounds, hide us. Never let us be separated from you. From the evil foe, defend us. At the hour of death, call us; and welcome us into your Kingdom. That with your saints we may praise you forever and ever. Amen. (Adapted from the prayer Anima Christi) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all and Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation! Today we certainly call upon the presence and intercession of Mary to enliven our life with hope and joy!
On this Eclipse Monday, I hope you are navigating through these April Easter days with faith and hopefulness in the future. As we begin our journey through Monday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I know much of the focus today will be on the Eclipse but don’t forget to give God through Mary a little time today! As I want to thank anyone who offered a little prayer for me yesterday as I ran the Cherry Blossom 10 miler. I made it all the way finishing in a time of 1:46:43. It was a great run, and I came through it just fine! So thanks again for the prayers. Today’s blessing prayer goes out to you through the intercession of Mary. I pray that God will bless us all with the faith and hope of Mary so that our lives too can be a “yes” to God! I also pray that God will bless all mothers today in gratitude for their “yes”! And a special prayer of blessing for all expecting mothers. Blessings on all women for the life they bring to the world! And through the intercession of Mary, I ask for God’s healing to come upon our world. Have a blessed and holy day everyone and may God’s blessing and Mary’s presence be with you! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God of Eternal Love, through the loving “yes” of Mary, your Word, Jesus, took flesh in her womb. We pray today that we who believe in Christ as our Redeemer may share in the gift of his presence in our life. We ask for the grace to say yes each day and thus bring about the birth of your Eternal Word in the world once again. May the living of our life today be our “yes” to your love.
We also remember this day all mothers and we ask your blessing through the intercession of Mary upon them. We are grateful for their, “yes” to life and for the way they have blessed us with their presence and their love! Amen! Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I would ask that if you are reading this sometime Sunday morning that you stop and offer a little prayer for me. At 7:00 am I will begin a 10-mile run in Washington DC. It is the Cherry Blossom 10 miler. Just say a little prayer that all the runners including myself have a fun and safe run. Your thoughts and prayer will be greatly appreciated! I pray that God will bless you Sunday with the richness of the mercy and joy of Risen Christ and the joy of God’s merciful love. On this Second Sunday of Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday, may our Good and Gracious God bless you and protect you from the struggles and perils of life. May the God who so loves us that he gave us his only Son touch you with that love today and always. And through the joyous grace of Christ may God lead you to the banquet of lasting joy. Amen – Alleluia! Enjoy your day, don't forget to give God a little time today and I hope wherever you are the sun is out and the day will be warm and full of the colors of spring! Peace in Christ's Passion - Joy in the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: God the Father, bless us: Christ, guard us: Holy Spirit, enlighten us, all the days of our lives. Loving God, be the defender and guardian of our souls and bodies, world without end. The right hand of the Lord preserves us always to old age! The grace of Christ perpetually defends us from all enemies! Direct, Lord, our hearts into the way of peace. Loving God, deliver and help us always. Amen! (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Thank you for your prayers yesterday! Our April Taping Day for The Sunday Mass went well. I appreciate your support and your prayerful help. We had a little excitement here in the east yesterday. You might say we got “All shook up!” at least for a few moments. The earthquake happened in the middle of taping our second mass yesterday. Everyone felt it but the mass went on without a hitch, but it certain a very odd moment. It will be interesting to see if the cameras pick up the event. Never a dull moment at The Sunday Mass! My prayer for all of us today that we will once again be touched by the joy of Easter. May we be gifted with many life-giving experiences, with many encounters of God and a positive attitude to take us through the day. May we not see this day as a burden but as an opportunity to encounter the Risen Lord in unique ways. May we all be blessed with the gifts of joy and peace as you journey through this day! God's Easter blessings to all today! Peace in Christ's Passion and the Joy of the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Soul of Christ, sanctify us. Body of Christ, save us. From the malignant enemy, defend us. At the hour of death, call us; and bid us come to you. That with the saints we may praise you forever and ever. Amen (Adapted from the prayer Anima Christi)

Great is your compassion and mercy because you gave us your only Son and Christ died for us all. Teach us to recognize you in all things and love you as you love us. Our prayer of deep faith today is that through the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ you will send workers into the vineyards of life to proclaim the Good News.
