Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings to all! I hope as always that you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at time difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
A special shout out today to Mary O'Donoghue on her birthday, “Happy Birthday Mary,” many blessings today and always! Have a great day. Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God’s blessings will be upon us in whatever we will be doing, whether it be working, relaxing, having fun or perhaps even traveling. I pray that God will be with us throughout this day and bless us with the richness of his presence and love. If you will be traveling these days, please do so safely! Blessings today and always and may our Friday be filled with much peace! Stay cool. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
