Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings to everyone! I also hope you are continuing to navigate through these Fall and October days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I hope your week ahead will not be too busy and if you are facing busyness, struggles, challenges or uncertainly please know that you are in my prayers. Following the theme of the Gospel today my prayer of blessing for us all is that we, in the midst of our busy life are open to the many experiences of God that will touch our life today! Loving God, through the intercession of St. John XXIII, whom we remember today, I ask your blessing upon us today that even though our lives are filled with many things, even though we are busy about many things, even though sometimes it is hard to know you are with us that you will gift us today with your grace to be aware of the many times, many ways and the many people that bring your presence to us. Help us to not miss the unexpected. Help us to be open to your mysterious ways. Bless us all as we live life today! Have a great Monday! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
