Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all. As always, I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these March Lenten days with faith and hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I want to thank you for your prayers this week. We had a very nice and spirited closing to the mission here at Our Lady of Fatima yesterday. I will be headed back home later this morning. I am most grateful to all who made the mission and to all of you who offered a prayer or two for us. I would like to send a shout out to my niece Bridget, who celebrates her birthday today and who just moved into a new house in a new city. Happy Birthday, Bridget! Hopefully you will celebrate the gift of this day at least a little! Many blessings today and always. Love your Uncle Paul! My prayer of blessing today is that all of us remain focused on our faith, on our relationship with God and on all the wonderful things God has done for us. May we never give in to hopelessness and look elsewhere to a god that we or the world creates. Many blessing to all today. May your Thursday be touched with hope and joy. May you journey through this day in safety and through the presence and grace of God continue to be faithful at day’s end! If you are in need of God’s healing may you be so touched by God today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
