A Runner’s Thoughts: Let us think of each run, walk or movement through life another way that we make as having two distinct parts. I will call them the outward run, walk or movement and the inward run, walk or movement. The outward is what we encounter as we run, walk or move through life another way, creation, people, sounds, experiences, how we feel, the distance involved. The inward is what we encounter about ourselves. How we are feeling. What struggles we have physically, emotionally and spiritually. What we bring on the run, walk or movement through life another way that is within us, good and bad. Both parts of our runs, walks or movements through life another way are physical, emotional and spiritual. So, let us be aware, let us listen, and let us focus outwardly and inwardly because each part can bring us to God.
