A Runner's Thoughts: "When we journey without the Cross, when we build without the Cross, when we profess Christ without the Cross, we are not disciples of the Lord, we are worldly...My wish is that all of us will have the courage, yes, the courage, to walk in the presence of the Lord, with the Lord's Cross; to build the Church on the Lord's blood which was poured out on the Cross; and to profess the one glory: Christ crucified." (Pope Francis)
A Runner’s Thoughts: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” (Mahatma Gandhi)
A Runner’s Thoughts: As we move through life today let us try to make our day God-centered. In other words, let us make an action that honors God through the voices of nature. As we move let’s experience all the sounds of nature around us; the wind, the trees, the leaves. Let’s listen to the sounds of water if we wander near a creek, river or the ocean. Let’s be aware of the smells and scents of nature around us. Remember in the Psalms, the rivers clapped and the ocean roar in praise to God, so join in the chorus as you move today. Look, purposefully, for signs of God’s creation, offering praise. Become one among the many voices of creation to give praise as you run today.
"The day of my spiritual awakening was the day I saw and knew I saw all things in God and God in all things." (Mechtild of Magdeburg 1212-1282)
