Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is this – Loving God I pray today for my family and friends. I pray for all who ask me to pray for them or to remember a prayer request that they have. I pray for all who are in need of prayer. What follows Lord, is my prayer for all of us - so please bless us with your presence however we may need it. I prayer for all in need of prayer... May there be peace within us. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use the gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be content knowing we are children of God. Let God’s presence settle into our bones, and allow our soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. God’s presence is there for every one of us. Today - Amen! Loving God bless all in need today with this prayer! Have a blessed and holy Wednesday everyone. If you happen to be one of the few people traveling today, please travel safe! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Lord, we call upon the universe to give praise and glory to you, the sun and moon, stars of heaven, shower and dew, all the winds, fire and heat – all these have participated in our lives, accompanied us over and through many troubles and persecutions. Altogether we praise you, O Lord. We acclaim you for your kindness and faithfulness. You make your salvation known in the sight of everyone. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by Fr. Carroll Stuhlmueller, C.P.)

May God be with us in the day’s trials. May we always have the compassion, support, consolation, peace and love of God in our lives. May God bless us with his presence this day and always. Have a great Tuesday everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Take, Lord, receive all our liberty, our memory, understanding, our entire will. Give us only your love and your grace, that's enough for us. Your love and your grace are enough for us. Take, Lord, receive all that we have and possess. You have given all to us, now we return it. Give us only your love and your grace, that's enough for us. Your love and your grace are enough for us. Take, Lord, receive, all is yours now. Dispose of it, wholly according to your will. Give us only your love and your grace, that's enough for us. Your love and your grace are enough for use. Amen. (Prayer adapted from prayer by St. Ignatius Loyola and the lyrics of Fr. John Foley’s song) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all! (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today comes from something I ran across a few years ago, it is a blessing prayer that seems to be credited to both St. Thérèse of Liseaux and St. Teresa of Ávila. So, I thank them both for their words of wisdom that I use today… Loving God I prayer for family and friends today, for all who ask me to pray for them or to remember a prayer request that they have, and I pray for all who are in need of prayer today. What follows Lord, is my prayer for them - so please bless them with your presence however they may need it today. For all in need of prayer today – “May today there be peace within you. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I have many things to celebrate and remember today. Earlier today in Rome, the Passionists began our Jubilee Year. Today marks the 300th Anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of the Passion. On November 22, 1720 St. Paul of the Cross was vested in the black tunic of a hermit, later to be known as a habit, and he began his 40 day retreat is the Church St. Charles in Castellazzo. During his retreat St. Paul of the Cross wrote the first rule of the Passionists and our journey as a congregation, a religious community began. So this is a Jubilee Year for us and I would ask your prayer as we pray, reflect, and celebrate this year that we will be renewed by the spirit of St. Paul of the Cross so that we can continue our journey of faith. I am also celebrating today the 67th anniversary of my baptism. Yes, 67 years ago on November 22, 1953, 20 days after I was born, I was welcomed into the Church. Thanks to my parents I was dedicated to God this day and welcomed into this wonderful faith community called Church. And just 57 years ago we mourned as a nation the loss of our president. Yes, 57 years ago today President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas, TX. Unfortunately, as a nation we have digressed into untruth, lies, violence of all kinds. We have a void of leadership in all aspects of our life. We continue to mourn people being shot in our nation not by terrorists, but by one another. Still no gun laws, still no respect for human life, still no peace! My prayer of blessing today is that we may all celebrate this day as mentioned above for many different reasons, with joy and peace for this is the Day that the Lord has made so let us rejoice and be glad. May there always be work for us to do. May our pockets and purses always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine warm on our windowpanes. May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of family, a loved one and a friend always be near and may God fill our hearts with gladness, love and good cheer that we in turn can share! May the blessing of Christ the Shepherd and Servant King be upon us all today and always. Do not forget to give God a little time today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, may we look beyond the earthly images of king and find your loving presence in our life this day and always. May it lead us to truth, life, holiness, grace, justice, joy and peace. May it make us true workers in your eternal kingdom of love! Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all. I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Today is the feast of The Presentation of Mary a day when many religious, especially women religious take their vows and/or renew their vows. So, a special shout out to all taking or renewing their vows today may the spirit of Mary guide, strengthen and grace you on your journey through this life you have accepted and are trying to live out. Tomorrow we Passionists begin a Jubilee Year, it is the 300 Anniversary Year of our founding as a religious congregation in the Church. On November 22, 1720, St. Paul of the Cross was vested in a black robe and began a 40-day retreat during which he wrote the original rule of the Congregation of the Passion. A would ask for your prayers for us that is Year of Jubilee will renew us and help us to keep alive the memory for Christ’s Passion in this day and age. May the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! My prayer of blessing today is that our day will be blessed with the warmth of the sun lighting up a beauty of God’s creation. If the gift of the sun is not available, then may we be at least touched by the warmth of many smiles greeting us and guiding us through the gift of all the experiences that this day will bring. May our day be rich in the blessings of God’s grace, mercy, hope, joy, and love wherever we go and in and through whomever we meet. And may we always be blessed in finding God’s presence within ourselves! Have a wonderful Saturday with many blessings! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving Mary, our mother, please give us a heart like yours, firm in its attachments and of unshakable loyalty; an affectionate heart that radiates a discreet tenderness; a pure heart that lives in the flesh without being burdened by it; a generous heart, quick in letting go of its hurts and always ready to forgive; a magnanimous heart that rejoices in other’s triumphs and shares in their sorrows; a heart that condemns no one and does not tire of being confided to; a heart taken up by Christ, totally given to his infinite love. Amen. (Adapted from a Traditional Prayer)
