Today’s Thoughts: “You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope.” (Thomas Merton)
I used these words from Thomas Merton not long ago in another one of my daily reflections, but I thought they spoke to our scriptures today on this Feast of the Transfiguration. We might not know how or why but by God’s grace our lives can be transformed into something wonderful if we are willing to embrace this moment with courage, faith and hope. We also need to remember that on this day 74 years ago an atomic bomb was dropped and three days later another one was dropped. We live today in the hope that Jesus’ transfiguration will always remind us that, despite our human tendency toward acts of violence and death, our lives, the world, can be changed by God’s power to give new life! Blessings on this Feast of the Transfiguration to everyone and please pray for an end to all war and violence in our world. Have a great Tuesday everyone.

Good Morning to all of the readers out there who are finding some strength on the internet. This is a post that will give us that little courage that we need because the different problems are always there but we should know how to be optimistic and we should always be a person who have a deep faith for this will be the reason for us to be guided by the Lord. Jesus Christ is our savior and He will always forgive us but we should not take that for granted. We can have a happy life which is blessed and full of love from the Lord.

What Thomas Merton said really touched me. I guess that I really needed those words now. It really makes me feel bad every time I was left out. I think before that I needed to know everything and to be a help to everyone. I learned from my mistakes and make sure that this time, I will listen and help accordingly. Having hope in everyday life will change your tomorrow. We have to think of the possibilities in every good and bad we encounter.
