Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to everyone! May this journey through this hopeful season of Advent be a blessing in our journey through life on this Tuesday!
I hope you are continuing to navigate through these late November days with faith and hopefulness for the future. Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Today is a special Taping Day for The Sunday Mass. We are taping the hour-long Christmas Mass with Bishop Brennan of the Diocese of Brooklyn, so I would ask you to keep the ministry team and production team of The Sunday Mass in your prayers today. My prayer of blessing today for all of us is a simple one…May God look with favor upon all our prayers, needs, petitions and activities today. May God be with us in the day’s trials. May we always have the compassion, support, consolation, peace and love of God in our lives. May God bless us all with his presence this day and always. Have a blessed and holy Tuesday...and along with Isaiah let us imagine a world of peace today! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul
