Today’s Blessing: Sunday greetings and blessings to all! Again, I hope you are navigating through these unusual and at times difficult days. As each day passes, we hear about the people around us and some whom we know, who are struggle with the virus. They are in our prayers as the whole world is in the hope that we will move beyond this struggle with the grace of God.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I ask God’s blessing on all of us that we will have a good Sunday as we continue to stay where we are in the hope of moving finally beyond this virus. I pray that we will be blessed a peaceful and holy Sunday, one that helps us not to be afraid, but like Martha and Mary helps us to believe. May God bless us with the richness of his healing presence and may God help us to shelter in place with the hope of a new and better tomorrow. Have a blessed and holy Sunday and continue to be safe and healthy. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
