​Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings this morning. I hope you are continuing to navigate through these Spring and Easter Season days with faith and a sense of hopefulness. Perhaps, we should draw strength for Jesus’ words in the Gospel today, “Let not let our hearts be troubled, but let us have faith in God and faith in Jesus!”
 
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer…
 
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of All People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,
through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.
 
We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.

My prayer of blessing is that God will bless all of us this day with the Spirit of knowing the way and throughout this day our hearts will not be troubled because we have faith in God and in Jesus always. May God’s blessings be upon our Friday, and upon our journey through this day and upon all the things, experience and people that try to bring trouble into our hearts. We want to act out your intentions for us, but we keep getting mixed up by all the glitter of the world around us. You tell us to honor creation, and we use other people, animals and plant life only to meet our wants. You offer daily bread to every living creature, and we steal that bread from our sisters and brothers in the name of greed. You promise us new life, and we shrink back from it is fear. I pray that we will bring God’s presence to this day in whatever we do and to whoever we connect with as we go through this day. As I journey on through this Tuesday my prayer is that God will bless all of us in some special way today. I pray that God will bless our work, our endeavors and our encounters with others. I pray that God will bless us with safety, good health and patient perseverance. I pray that if we find ourselves in the midst of struggles, we will feel God’s presence and know that we are not alone. My prayer of blessing this morning is that God will bless our day with a strong faith, the hope of a new day and the love of many people in our life. Many we be blessed with God’s presence in our life, our work from home and our encounters with others. May we be graced with patience, strength, determination and perseverance and many moments that will put a smile on our face. Blessings upon all of us today. ​Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus, you have brought us the gift of abundant life. Give us eyes that can look beyond the glamor and trivia of the world to the richness of your loving presence as it comes to us in others, creation and ourselves. Grace us with hope so that we will not give into despair, anger, vengeance, hate and fear but through hope we will find the joy, grace and life you came to give us. May we come to know the full measure of life that you have promised and bring it to others! Amen!
