Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all! I hope this finds you well and enjoying your Sunday. Don’t forget to give God a little time today. I began the mission last night at Immaculate Conception/Assumption Parish in Tuckahoe, NY by preaching the 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm masses. As I mention the parish is only about six miles from home, so I am commuting each day. Today, I will be preaching five more masses today. The mission will begin tomorrow afternoon after the 12: 00 noon mass and in the evening at 7:00 pm. Please keep the Immaculate Conception/Assumption faith community and their preacher in your prayers the next three days.
My prayer of blessing today is a simple one. My God bless us all with the ability to see with the eyes of faith as we journey through this Sunday. May we see the joy of God’s presence in ourselves and others and may we share that joy with all we meet this coming week and always! Have a great Sunday everyone, relax a little and enjoy wherever you are. Please know you are in my prayers always especially during this holy time! Today’s Prayer: O God of compassion and forgiveness, grace us with your gift of joy filled hope. Help us to be your new creations proclaiming the Good News. As your envoys of faith may we bring your healing and reconciliation to others just as Jesus brings healing and reconciliation to us. Welcome us this evening into the light us with a restful and peaceful night touched by your wondrous love! Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope your Saturday is starting off well? It looks to be a cloudy day here in the New York area though I think it is also to be a mild day. I have another Lenten Mission beginning this afternoon but this week I get to sleep in my own bed as the mission is at Immaculate Conception/Assumption Parish in Tuckahoe, NY which is only about six miles away. So, I will commute from home each day. I once again ask that you keep the faith community at Immaculate Conception/Assumption Parish in your prayers during these days of mission and if you have a little extra time could you include their preacher in your prayers too.
Well friends I must now be busy about many things so I send you greetings and blessings this day and prayers that you will have a good Saturday. May God bless us all with a restful Saturday, may it be gifted with the presence of people we love, and may it be rich in the presence of God! If it happens to be a busy one may we find the gift of God’s blessing within our busyness. And may we be blessed with a little warmth in our life. Blessings to all and remember to give God a little time this weekend. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings to all. I hope you have had a good week and that your Friday is starting off well! My blessing prayer today is that God will bless all of you with a peaceful end to this work week and the joy of entering a weekend with family, friends and many good experiences. Be well and safe my friends, have a great day and the beginning of a wonderful weekend wherever you are and whatever you are doing. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope your day has started off well. The mission at Our Lady of Hope Parish ended last night and all in all it was a wonderful mission at least from my perspective. There was a nice spirit over the three mornings and evening and I believe God was very present to all of us throughout the mission. May God continue to bless the faith community at Our Lady of Hope.
Today will be a busy day – no rest for the weary! This afternoon at 3:00 pm we have our second program of Through The Cross. If you have the time why not join us at 3:00 pm. It will be Part II of “Who Are the Passionist?” with your guest Fr. Rob. All you have to do is go to the Sunday Mass website and click on Through The Cross. My prayer of blessing today is that you may it be rich in many life-giving experiences, in many faith-filed people and touched with the gifts of joy, hope and love. Paul Today’s Prayer: Almighty and eternal God, may we always walk in your ways but especially as we begin this new day. Enliven our hearts with joy so that they will not be hardened by the struggles, hurts, pains and difficulties of life. Help our hearts to remain open to hearing your Word and recognizing your presence. Too often because of life we begin to wander away from you, too often we fail to hear you or recognize your presence in our life. Help us to always have the strength to walk, to live in your ways and hear your voice. Bless us with the gift of your Holy Spirit of joy and hope this day and always! Amen!

The mission continues to go well here at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Middle Village, Queens, NY. We had two great session yesterday and I look for more of the same today. I will head home tonight after the closing of the mission as I have a busy day on Thursday. Remember if you can to tune into Through The Cross with Fr. My prayer of blessing today is that all of us will be touched by the mercy, joy and love of God as we journey through this day.
