​Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday blessings and greeting and happy feast of the archangels, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael! I hope your Friday has started well and that you have had a good week.
 
I would like to send a special shout out to my grand nephew Michael on this his feast day. Happy Feast Day Michael, may your patron saint, St. Michael, watch over you and protect you not only today but always!
 
My prayer of blessing today is to ask St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, the three archangels whom we celebrate today to protect, guide and help you as you journey through this day and life. May they bring God’s grace, joy and love into your life and energize you with strength, goodness and love that you might share with whomever you meet today. May St. Michael make your travels and your day safe, may St. Gabriel bring you God’s Good News throughout the day and may St. Raphael bring God’s healing love to your hurts, struggles and negative encounters this day! Today’s Prayer:
Loving God, you have given us archangels to assist us during our pilgrimage on earth.  Saint Michael is our protector; so we ask him to come to our aid, to watch over all our loved ones, and to protect all of us from danger. Saint Gabriel is a messenger of the Good News; so we ask him to help us to clearly hear your voice, to teach us your truth and to help us find the joy of your Word! Saint Raphael is the healing angel; so we ask him to take to you all our prayers for healing, lifting all in need of healing into your presence so that through your mercy, love and grace they may be delivered back to us through your gift of healing.
 
Help us, O God, to realize more fully the gift of Michael, Gabriel and Raphael and their desire to serve us. Archangels, protect, guide and help us through this journey of life. Amen.

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday blessings and greetings to all. I hope your day has started well? The weather has changed significantly in Lake Placid today, no more 80’s and 90’s. It is 52 at the moment and our high today will be 56 with a low of 30 tonight. Fall has finally arrived. This morning my prayer of blessing today is adapted from the Irish tradition - May God bless all of you today so that the road rises up to meet you and makes your journeys swift and easy. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And if the rain has to fall may it be soft upon the land and upon you. And may you be truly blessed by God holding you in the palm of his hand throughout this day and always!

Today’s Prayer:  Grant, O God, that we may never fall away in success or in failure; that we may not be prideful in prosperity nor dejected in adversity. Let us rejoice only in what unites us and sorrow only in what separates us. May we strive to please no one or fear to displease anyone except you, our God. May we see always the things that are eternal and never those that are only temporal. May we shun any joy that is without you and never seek any that is beside you. Loving God, may we delight in any work we do for you and tire of any rest that is apart from you. Gracious God, let us direct our hearts towards you, and in our failings, let us always seek forgiveness with the firm purpose of being better people. Amen! Be praised, loving God, through Brothers Wind and Air, and clouds and storms, and all the weather, through which you give your creatures sustenance.
