Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these early days of Fall and this last day of September with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My blessing prayer today is that God will provide us with what we need to keep the faith and live this day. I ask God’s blessings upon us all, our day through this simple prayer – Loving God, bless our families, our friends and all your faithful people so that we will always live your truth; express your love by our lives; share your passion by our enthusiasm; take action with your grace; walk by faith; dance and sing to the gift of your Spirit and embrace your unimaginable blessings. Help us make today worth remembering because we know that you created us out of love. Have a great day everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Grant us, Lord, to know what is worth knowing, to love what is worth loving, to praise what delights you most, to value what is precious in your sight. Do not let us judge by what we see, nor pass sentence according to what we hear, but judge rightly between things that differ and above all to search out and to do what pleases you. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by Thomas À Kempes)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday blessings and greeting and happy feast of the archangels, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these early days of Fall and final days of September with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As I have the last few days I once again ask your prayers for the Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirmed who are on retreat this week and if you have an extra moment could you also offer a prayer for their preacher! My prayer of blessing today is to ask St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, the three archangels whom we celebrate today to protect, guide and help us as we journey through this day and life. May they bring God’s grace, joy and love into our life and energize us with strength, goodness and love that we might share with whomever we encounter today. May St. Michael make our journeys and our day safe, may St. Gabriel bring us God’s Good News throughout the day and may St. Raphael bring God’s healing love to our hurts, struggles and negative encounters this day! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Loving God, you have given us archangels to assist us during our pilgrimage on earth. Saint Michael is our protector; so, we ask him to come to our aid, to watch over all our loved ones, and to protect all of us from danger. Saint Gabriel is a messenger of the Good News; so, we ask him to help us to clearly hear your voice, to teach us your truth and to help us find the joy of your Word! Saint Raphael is the healing angel; so, we ask him to take to you all our prayers for healing, lifting all in need of healing into your presence so that through your mercy, love and grace they may be delivered back to us through your gift of healing. Help us, O God, to realize more fully the gift of Michael, Gabriel and Raphael and their desire to serve us. Archangels, protect, guide and help us through this journey of life. Amen. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday blessings and greeting to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these early Fall days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.

My prayer of blessing today is to ask for God’s protection, guidance and help for all of us as we journey through this day and life. May God’s grace, joy and love energize us and strengthen us so that we will live this day with goodness and love. May we share God’s grace, goodness and love with all whom we might encounter today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, May the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, be our touchstone, be our comfort, be our answer to all the dark questions. May the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ, be the light of all nights, the sign that you have chosen us, the mysterious and sure sign that we are yours for all eternity. Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I made it to Germantown, NY yesterday and the retreat started off well at least from my perspective. It is nice being along the Great Hudson River once again. I would ask your prayers for the 20 Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirmed on retreat this week and if you have the time could you throw in a prayer for their preacher too? My prayer for all of us today is that we will have a great day filled with many blessings, much love and feelings of peace. May we all be rich in faith, hope and love which God has planted with in us. And may we always live in the present moment open to the infinite number of ways God enters into our lives! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, you have brought us to the light of a new day: keep us safe today and help us to overcome any sinful inclination. May all our thoughts, words and actions aim at doing what is pleasing in your sight even if we must face the struggles and disappointments of life like Job. Help us this day to live in the present moment and to look beyond ourselves to those in need and who bring your presence into our life. Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I would ask your prayers this week as I begin a retreat for the Carmelite Sisters of the Aged and Infirmed in Germantown, NY this evening. The retreat will continue all week until next Saturday morning. Please if you have time offer a prayer each day for the sisters on retreat and for their preacher. My prayer of blessing today is that our journey through Sunday may be a good one. May we live by faith today and trust in the gift that we are. May God recognize our faith and bless us with the trust and willingness to let go and let God. If we are struggling with our faith may we find the strength to trust in the presence of God in our life. Blessings today upon all we do, upon everyone we meet and most importantly upon each one of us. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord, remember in our regard your ancient mercies, not the sins of our youth and weakness. Enable us to be just as forgiving towards one another, that we can be your instruments in extending your kingdom of love and fidelity. We pray this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
