Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday Greetings and blessings to all on this last day of January! I hope your Wednesday is starting out well.
My prayer of blessing today is simply this… wherever you are, whatever this day has brought or will bring your way I pray in the hope you have found and will continue to find many blessings as you live this day! Today’s Prayer: O God of all strength, help us to hold on to the courage of faith as we live our life. Keep us from forming opinions about ourselves and others that cause us to miss your grace, your presence and your love. Keep our hearts open to the many ways you enter our lives so that in faith you might bring healing and love to our life and to all those we encounter this day. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings everyone. I hope this finds you having a good beginning to your Tuesday. Today January 30th is always a special day in my life. One hundred and three years ago my father was born. Now he only made it through 67 of those years but that was enough to fall in love with my mother and together they, by the grace of God, gave life to three children who are most grateful for their love and the gift of life! So, Dad, Happy Birthday Day and thanks! I would also like to send a shout out to my nephew-in-law as today is his birthday. Happy Birthday, Jurek! Many blessings today and always and I hope you will get a chance to celebrate at least a little! I offer a simple prayer of blessing on this last Tuesday in January that all of us will be blessed with the grace of God’s presence in our journey through this day. May all we do be touched by God’s Spirit. May all we meet be touched by God’s love. Blessings to all on this Tuesday and may your day be productive and full of energy if you need it to be. May your day offer you time for quiet and relaxation as you journey through a busy week. Today’s Prayer: O God, give strength to our faith, so that we can be a source of support, comfort, healing and life as we make our journey through this day to a new day tomorrow. Help us to draw upon the faith of all who have gone before us, trusting that they are always with us. Give us the courage to reach out and touch you when we most need it today. Make us aware of those in need of life today so that we may bring you to them. May we not grow weary or lose heart. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all. I hope you had a good weekend and that your Monday has started off well!
My prayer of blessing today comes from a prayer by St. Therese of Lisieux – May there be peace within us today and every day. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use those gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be confident knowing that we are a child of God. Let this presence settle into our bones and allow our soul the freedom to sing dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us. Amen! Have a great Monday everyone! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God creator of all good things, you are our light and our salvation, whom should we fear. Loving God, you are the stronghold, the rock of our life, of whom should we be afraid? Help us as we live this day to discern what is right, to take comfort and to always hope in you. Guide us along your right path knowing that you are always with us and you will never leave us to face life alone. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Sunday has started off well. I thank you for all your prayers yesterday. We had a wonderful celebration of Peg Reynolds life and her birth into eternal life.
Wherever you are, whatever this day will bring into your life – I offer this prayer and blessing for you today... This is the Day that God has made let us rejoice and be glad. May there always be work for us to do. May our pockets and purses always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine warm on our windowpanes. May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of family, a loved one and a friend always be near and may God fill our hearts with gladness and love that we in turn can share! May God’s blessing be upon us all today and always. I find myself this morning in the suburbs of Chicago. I am here for a family funeral today so I would ask you to keep Peg Reynolds and her extended family in your prayers today as we celebrate Peg’s birth into eternal life and lay her body to rest here in this life.

Paul Today’s Prayer: May God grant us, in accord with the riches of God’s glory, to be strengthened with power through God’s Spirit in our inner self. May Christ dwell in our hearts through faith, so that we, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
