Today’s Prayer: St. Augustine tells us that understanding is the reward given by faith so we should not try to understand in order to believe, but we should believe in order to understand.
 
So, we pray to you our loving God for the grace that will help us to always believe. Enliven us when we are weak with the strength to believe in your healing way and so that we may always live a holy way of life. Grant us the wisdom to recognize your presence in our lives that comes from within us and others. Be always near to us that when necessary we may take comfort in your love! Amen!

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all. My prayer of blessing today is that all of us remain focused on our faith, on our relationship with and on all the wonderful things God has done for us. May we never give in to hopelessness and look elsewhere to a god the world creates. Today’s Prayer: Compassionate God, at times our hearts get out of focus. When this happens everything becomes an effort, life is difficult and we struggle to be faithful. In these moments remind me of your Son’s words “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God” Do not let us be afraid and thus give in to life’s troubles and create our own molten calf. Rather help us, stay close to you, by reaching out to others, doing something creative with passion, and always living the fullness of life. Enliven us always in your Holy Spirit of hope, so that we may live life with Passion. And may the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Amen.

My prayer of blessing today goes out to everyone that you may encounter the love of God in some special way today; through the gesture of another person, through an experience of life, through an encounter with God within yourself. May God’s love enliven a well-spring of joy within you that you can share with all you meet today. And may you find the joy and mercy of God within you and share it with the world! Today’s Prayer: O God, you call us to be in love with you just as you are in love with us. Give us the grace to not be afraid of your gifts of love and mercy in our lives. Help us not to fear your invitation to intimacy and may we never hesitate to share your love with another. Grant us the strength to never forget the tenderness of your joyful loving presence and to trust that you will bring us home. Amen!

My prayer of blessing today is that your week, your Monday will start off well and that today will be rich in the presence of God. May God bless you in all that you will do today. May today be blessed with many wonderful people who help you to find the presence of God in your day, in your work, in your journeys and in the people who are most important in your life. May God bless you with the grace of God’s mercy and joy today and always.

Daily Prayer: Loving God, be always with us in times of stress and struggle. Help us to know that you are close even when we cannot feel your presence. Grace us with wisdom to always know that you are there helping us and watching over us. As St. Paul says, “nothing in heaven and on earth can separate us from your love.” Help us to believe and live St. Paul’s words. Enliven our hearts with faith and hope in your joy filled love today and always! Amen!
