Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday blessings and greetings to everyone! I hope your day has started off well if not hang in there and I will pray that it gets better!
Today’s is our second full day of retreat and I think the retreat is going well. Once again I would ask your prayers for the sisters on retreat and for their preacher. Have a great day everyone – many blessings on your journey today. I hope all of you will have a great Tuesday no matter where you are or what today will bring! I pray for God’s blessings upon all of you as you go through your day. May God bless all your endeavors. May God be with you in all of your challenges and in all of your struggles. Please trust in the presence of God that you carry within you and don’t be afraid to share your gift. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Take, Lord, and receive all our liberty, our memory, our understanding, and our entire will, all we have and call our own. You have given all to us. To you, Lord, we return it. Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give us only your love and your grace that is enough for us. (Adapted from St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Prayer)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope your day has started off well. As I look out my window it looks to be a nice day here in Manitowoc. I hope the same is true by you.
Our retreat began last night. There are eighteen sisters on retreat. If you get a chance sometime today could you say a prayer for the sisters that they will have a restful, relaxing, blessed and faith filled retreat. And if you could add a little extra prayer for their preacher if would be greatly appreciated. Have a great Monday everyone. May it truly be a good start to your week, but if not please know that I am praying that things will get better for you. May God’s blessings be upon you wherever you are and wherever your life brings you today. May your day be rich in God’s grace, hope, love and joy and may you find the strength and energy to share God’s blessings with whomever you meet! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, bless us and all that we do today, with the blessing of your love and mercy. Awaken in us our true image, our true likeness, our true gift. Water with your rain the dry places of our hearts and souls. Let your Holy Spirit direct us from the beginning of this day until its end and your Holy Spirit be our will, our work, and our end. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by Jacob Böhme)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessing to everyone! I hope this finds you well and enjoying your Sunday.
I finished my long journey to Manitowoc, Wisconsin yesterday about 4 pm. It was slow going in spots because of construction. I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening relaxing and getting ready for the retreat that will begin this evening, but I also had to prepare for mass today. In a little over an hour I will be celebrating the 7 am Sunday morning mass for most of the sisters here at Holy Family. No rest for the weary. As I look our the window it looks to be the beginning of a nice day here in Manitowoc. I hope the same is true for you! May God’s blessing be upon all on this Sunday especially the sisters who will be beginning retreat this evening. May God bless us all with a relaxing, holy and grace filled Sunday. Have a great Sunday and don’t forget to give God a little time today. May God bless your journey throughout this day and always! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Give us, O Lord, a steadfast heart, which no unworthy affection may drag downwards; give us an unconquered heart, which no tribulation can wear out; give us an upright heart, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon us also, O Lord our God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen! (Prayer by St. Thomas Aquinas)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all. I hope this finds you well and ready to begin a new day! I am in eastern Ohio at the moment about half way to Manitowoc, WI. I hope to reach Manitowoc about 4 pm this afternoon. I had a bit of rain and construction yesterday but all in all it was an easy drive and I am hoping today will be the same. I hope you Saturday has started well!
My prayer of blessing today for all of us is that God will grace us with the strength to somehow help the world take a step closer to peace by living our life with compassion, love and joy today! Please my friends don’t begin this day with hate in your hearts. Don’t see the world through the eyes of the 24-hour news stations. Don’t point your figures and blame. Don’t disrespect others not like you. Allow God’s blessing to touch your life and be a person of peace, of compassion, of hope, of joy and of love today. Be this person today for your family, for your friends, for your faith community, for those you work with, for those you meet, for the world, and for yourself. Have a great Saturday everyone, put a smile on your face and trust that you are loved by God even in those moments of struggle. May God bless you today and always and thanks for being the person that you are because you certainly make this world a better place and life worth living! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Loving Jesus We give you our hands to do your work We give you our feet to go your way We give you our eyes to see as you do We give you our tongue to speak your words We give you our mind that you may think in us We give you our spirit that you may pray in us Above all, we give you our heart that you may love in us your Father and all humankind we give you our whole self that you may grow in us so that it is you Loving Jesus who lives and works and prays in us. Amen! (Adapted from the Grail Prayer) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday blessings and greetings to all. I hope your day has started off well and that it will be blessed in a special way as you journey through it. If you are finding life a struggle today, please know as always you are in my prayers and I will say a special prayer that it gets at least a little better as the day goes on.
Later this morning I will head to the Wartburg Home for mass and then begin my journey to Manitowoc, Wisconsin where I will begin a retreat for sisters on Sunday. Yes, it is back on the road again. If you get a chance today please offer a prayer for safe travel and a good retreat. Have a great day and once again may God bless you with a strong and joyful faith so that the work you do and the life you live today will yield 30, 60 or 100-fold all of which is blessed, excepted, and planted within you by our loving God! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, we dedicate this new day to you as we go about our work and life. Give us steadfast hearts which no unworthy affection may drag downward. Give us unconquered hearts which no tribulations can wear out. Give us upright hearts, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon us also, O Lord, our God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you. Amen.
