Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope this finds you navigating through this last day of April with faith and a sense of hopefulness!
Once again as we journey through the Easter Season, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I pray that your life and day will be enliven with the blessings of God’s presence in the people you meet, in the places you go and in the things you do. May you come to know God today through the living of life and may your living of life today be graced with much joy! Have a great Saturday everyone - enjoy the gift of this day! Peace in Christ's Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Loving God, open our eyes that we may see you in our sisters and brothers. Lord, open our ears that we may hear the cries of the hungry, the cold, the frightened and the oppressed. Lord, open our hearts that we may love each other as you love us. Renew in us your spirit. Free us and make us one. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by Blessed Teresa of Calcutta)

Spirit of Christ, bless us. Body of Christ, save us. Blood of Christ, enliven us. Water from the side of Christ, wash us. Passion of Christ, strengthen us. O good Jesus, hear us. Within your wounds, hide us. Never let us be separated from you. From the evil foe, defend us. At the hour of death, call us; and welcome us into your Kingdom. That with your saints we may praise you forever and ever. Amen. (Adapted from the prayer Anima Christi) |
