Today’s Prayer: O God, strengthen us with the power to fall in love through the gift of your Spirit in our inner most being. Fill our hearts with your presence and please do not leave us. Help us to grasp how wide and long and high and deep your love is for us. And, above all, enable us to know this love that surpasses all understanding and knowledge so that we may share it with others this day and always. Amen!

​Today’s Blessing Prayer: Memorial Day greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are enjoying your day. Today is certainly a day to remember all who serve our country in the military and all who have given their lives over the years is service protecting our freedom. We pray that someday we will find a way to live in peace so that people will never have to train for and fight in war again!
 
My prayer of blessing today is that your Memorial Day wherever you are and whatever you are doing will be blessed with the richness of family and friends. Today’s Prayer:  Come, O Holy Spirit of Life and help us in our weaknesses, in our troubles and in our struggles.  We do not always know how to pray as we should, so we ask you to intercede for us. Grace our prayers with your groanings too deep for words and set our hearts on fire with your love. Help us to be re-created in your love so that we might renew your hope throughout the face of the earth this day and always. Amen!

My Sunday prayer of blessing is that you will be blessed with a sacred and safe place and a community of faith where you can wait for the spirit of faith to come help you on this journey of life. Where you can wait to be blessed with the spirit of hope so that you can get you through the rough times. Where you can wait to be blessed with a spirit of mercy that will help to see God in others and yourself. Where you can wait to be blessed with the spirit of love will remind you in whose image and likeness you are created in, how special you are and that you are never alone. As you journey through this day may you know that God is with you always and will never leave you to face your struggles alone!
