Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are navigating through this last October day with faith and hopefulness for the future.
As we begin a new day, as we celebrate All Hallows Eve, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I would like to send a shout-out to my niece Kelly on her Birthday – Happy Birthday Kelly! Many blessings today and always. Have a great Birthday! I offer a simple and peaceful blessing to all today – May our good and gracious God, bless us all as we journey through this last day of October and as many celebrate the holiday of Halloween, especially children. May God bless us all with gratitude as we journey through this day. May God bless us with safety if we will be out and about celebrating. May God bless us with joy and fun. And may God bless us with the richness of joy, hope and the goodness of God’s presence. May today be filled with Spirit and Life so that we will always find peace by living in the presence of God! Happy All Hallows Eve… Have a blessed and holy Tuesday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: God, Loving Creator, grace us with the wisdom to embrace your Kingdom that is all around us so that someday, after trying to master the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for you the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, we will have discovered fire – your unconditional love. Amen! (Adapted from the words of Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As I mentioned at the beginning of Today’s Prayer, today is the Anniversary of my mother’s birth into eternal life. And so, I remember her with thankfulness and gratitude for the gift of life that she and dad gave me, for the wisdom and knowledge she gave me during her time on earth, for her faithfulness and for her eternal spirit that continue to be a presence in my life. I trust in her eternal presence and spirit to be with me and continue to guide me on my journey through this life. I offer this prayer of blessing - Loving God, Creator of this new day, bless us this day so that we may live your truth in everything we do. That we may express your love and joy to everyone we meet. Touch us with your grace so that we may share our enthusiasm and make each moment better; so that we may give life to our hopes; so that we may walk by faith; so that we may dance and sing to your music of life; so that we will always embrace your mercy, your joy, your blessings, your love and make today and everyday worth remembering by taking the road less traveled. Amen! Have a great Monday everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: (Remembering my mother today on the 12th anniversary of her passing.) – Good Saint Rita, during your entire life on earth you found your happiness by following the will of God. Help us to be as trusting of God in all of what God asks of us this day and always. Help us this day to give ourselves to God as you did, without limit, without fear, without counting the cost. Help us to be – generous in serving the needs of others, patient in all difficulties, forgiving toward all who hurt us. Help us to learn more deeply the great mystery of the Cross of Jesus, so that by embracing it as you did, we may come to experience its power to heal and to save. Amen (Adapted from a Prayer to St. Rita of Cascia)

May our pockets and purses always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine warm on our windowpanes. May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of family, a loved one and a friend always be near and may God fill our hearts with gladness and love that we in turn can share! May God’s blessing be upon us all today and always. Don’t forget to give God a little time today after all it is Sunday! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding and my entire will, All I have and call my own. You have given all to me. To you, Lord, I return it. Everything is yours; do with it what you will. Give me only your love and your grace. That is enough for me. Paul Today’s Prayer: God of peace, we bless you and we thank you because you have sent us your beloved Son, Jesus, the source of all peace. Give us hearts open to the needs of all our sisters and brothers, so that we may be better able to build true peace. Remember Father of mercy, all who are in pain, who suffer and die in the cause of a more just and peaceful world. For people of every race, of every creed, of every tongue – may your kingdom come. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Once again, I will pray my daily blessing through the words of St. Paul’s from his Letter to the Ephesians. – And so my friends I pray that God will bless all of us today with the strength to live in a manner worthy of the call we have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with everyone we meet through love, always striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace; remembering that we are one Body, one Spirit, and that we are called to one Hope; that we believe in one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of us all, who is over all and through all and in all. May our one God bless us all today and always! Amen! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Come Lord! Come with us: see with our eyes, hear with our ears, think with our mind, love with our heart - in all the situations of our life. Work with our hands, our strength. Take, cleanse, possess, inhabit our will, our understanding, our love. Take us where you will, to do what you will, in your way. For where you are, there will your servants be. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by Evelyn Underhill)
