Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are navigating through these April Easter Season days with a sense of faith and hopefulness.
As we begin our Saturday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing on this Saturday is that God will fill our day with many blessings and grace it with patience, strength, determination and perseverance and many moments that will put a smile on our face. Please know that all of you are in my prayers today and always. Blessings upon your journey through this day, upon your challenge to remain hopeful and faithful in a world that often makes these two virtues difficult if not impossible. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: God the Father, bless me; Christ guard me; Holy Spirit, enlighten me, all the days of my life! Lord, be the defender and guardian of my soul and our body, now and always, world without end. The right hand of the Lord preserves me always to old age! The grace of Christ perpetually defends me from the enemy! Direct, Lord, my heart into the way of peace. Lord God, deliver and help me. Amen. (A prayer in the Book of Cerne)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that all of us will once again be touched by the joy of this Easter Season. May we be gifted today with many life-giving experiences, with many encounters of the Risen Lord through the people we meet, with safe travels if we are traveling and with much joy and peace as we journey through this day! God's blessings to all of us today! And remember with each encounter of Jesus we are sent forth to proclaim the Good News. Peace in Christ's Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving Jesus, we come before you this day. Take, Lord, and receive our heart: the words of faith that we speak, the works of justice that we do, our joys and sufferings. When we come to the eucharistic table, gather our offerings to your own for the life of the world and send us forth with the Good News in our heart. At the end of the day, place us with Mary, your mother, and for her sake take us to your heart. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by the Maryland Province of Jesuits)

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that our day will be full of hope, faith and love. Hope in the Risen Lord whom we find on this Easter journey, faith in the Risen Lord who has called us to this day with all its challenges and struggles and the love of the Risen Lord who always values us as a friend. May we encounter these three virtues in everything that we do today. in ever experience that we have, in every person we think about or encounter in some way. May we not look back or ahead but be present to the moment and the presence of God that we will find in each moment of this day. Have a blessed and holy Thursday everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord… Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Loving Father, Your gifts are many, but our attention span is short. Your Son changed the world by his love and brought us new hope. However, still we fail, we become discouraged, and we forget. We are weak on our own, but your Spirit renews our hearts and souls. We pray today and always for the understanding of salvation history that we find in the Acts of the Apostles. We pray for a sense of deliverance that we find in the Book of Psalms. We pray for confidence and hope in the future that we find in the Gospel. We make this prayer alive with Easter joy and ever watchful in the Spirit. Amen! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Christ…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, bless us this day with a faith that can move mole hills and mountains, that has an unseen healing touch, that lives everyday stories, celebrates simple suppers and helps us carry the crosses of life so that they turn into hope filled resurrections. Help us to see the goodness in ourselves and others. Grace us with your loving presence and enliven us with hope so that we can share your presence with everyone we meet. Keep us ever mindful today of those who are in need of prayer because they are struggling with life in some way. Help us to live this day alive in joy, faith, hope, mercy and love for all who struggle, for all who carry crosses, for all who seek your peace! Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that we may all have a safe and productive day, rich in the presence of God and filled with God’s love and peace. May we all be held closely by God today and may we all truly know that we are cared for and loved today! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord God, we have no idea where we are going. We do not see the road ahead of us. We cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do we really know ourselves, and the fact that we think we are following your will does not mean that we are actually doing so. But we believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And we hope we have that desire in all that we are doing. We hope that we will never do anything apart for that desire. And we know that if we do this you will lead us by the right road though we may know nothing about it. Therefore, we will trust you always though we may seem to be lost and in the shadow of death. We will not fear, for you are ever with us, and you will never leave us to face our perils alone. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by Thomas Merton)
