Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all. Sorry for being a bit late with my postings today. I had an early morning trip to the airport and then spiritual direction and by the time I got home I decided to crash a for a little while. I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) May God bless us today with much grace and may we find joy in whatever we are doing, whether it be working, relaxing, having fun or just being. I pray that God will be with all of us throughout this day and bless us with the richness of his presence and love. If you happen to be traveling at some point in the next few days, please do so safely! Blessings today and always and may these days of summer see us through to a healthier time! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
