Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all. I hope and pray you are continuing to navigate through these end of January days with faith and hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) A special shout out to all Dominicans and theologians on this Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas! I offer a simple prayer of blessing on this Saturday that all of us will be blessed with the grace of God’s presence in our journey through this day. May all we do be touched by God’s Spirit. May all we meet be touched by God’s love. Blessings to all on a well-deserved Saturday and may our day be productive and full of energy if you need it to be. May our day offer us time for rest and relaxation after a long and busy week. May we have a day rich in God’s grace so that even in the midst of storms that can arise in life we will know that we are never alone. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul
