Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings to all and welcome to April. I pray that you are navigating through these Spring Lenten days with faith and hope in the future.
 
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer…
 
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick.
At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain,
with steadfast faith.
You, Salvation of All People, know what we need.
We are certain that you will provide, so that,
as you did at Cana of Galilee,
joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the Father’s will
and to do what Jesus tells us:
He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us,

My prayer of blessing today is a simple one that all of us will have a graced filled, safe and healthy Friday, one that helps us to trust and hope in God’s presence and action in the world. May we all be blessed with richness of what matters to God and touched with the presence of God in all we do today. ​Today’s Payer: St. Augustine tells us that understanding is the reward given by faith, so we should not try to understand in order to believe, but we should believe in order to understand. So, we pray to you our loving God for the grace that will help us to always believe. Enliven us when we are weak with the strength to believe in your healing way and so that we may always live a holy way of life. Grant us the wisdom to recognize your presence in our lives that comes from within us and others. Be always near to us that when necessary we may take comfort in your love! Amen!

I want to thank you for your prayers this week. We had a very nice and spirited closing to the mission here at Our Lady of Fatima yesterday. I will be headed back home later this morning. I am most grateful to all who made the mission and to all of you who offered a prayer or two for us.
 
I would like to send a shout out to my niece Bridget, who celebrates her birthday today and who just moved into a new house in a new city. Happy Birthday, Bridget! Hopefully you will celebrate the gift of this day at least a little! Many blessings today and always. Love your Uncle Paul!
 
My prayer of blessing today is that all of us remain focused on our faith, on our relationship with God and on all the wonderful things God has done for us. May we never give in to hopelessness and look elsewhere to a god that we or the world creates. Many blessing to all today. May your Thursday be touched with hope and joy. May you journey through this day in safety and through the presence and grace of God continue to be faithful at day’s end! If you are in need of God’s healing may you be so touched by God today. ​Today’s Prayer: Compassionate God, at times our hearts get out of focus. When this happens everything becomes an effort, life is difficult, and we struggle to be faithful. In these moments remind us of Your Son’s words “For human beings it is impossible, but not for God. All things are possible for God” Do not let us be afraid and thus give in to life’s troubles and create our own molten calf. Rather help us, stay close to you, by reaching out to others, doing something creative with passion, and always living the fullness of life. Enliven us always in Your Holy Spirit of hope, so that we may live life with Passion together. And may the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Amen.

Today is the last day of mission here at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in New London, NH, so once again I ask for your prayers for all making the mission and for the preacher!
 
My prayer of blessing today goes out to everyone – that you may encounter the love of God in some special way today; through the gesture of another person, through an experience of life, through an encounter with God within yourself. May God’s love enliven a well-spring of joy within you that you can share with all you meet today. And may you find the joy and mercy of God within you and share it with the world! As I mentioned yesterday and Saturday, I am in New London, New Hampshire at Our Lady of Fatima Parish and we are beginning a Lenten Mission here today. I preached all the masses on Saturday and Sunday and this morning and evening will be the first Mission sessions. Please if you would not mind offering a prayer today for the faith community here at Our Lady of Fatima as we enter Mission and if you have the time to add an extra prayer for their preacher it would be appreciated!
 
May the coming of Spring begin the hopefulness of warmth, colors and new life into your life. May the blessings of Spring enliven your life today!
My prayer of blessing today is that through the intercession of St. Joseph, all of us will remain focused on our faith, on our relationship with God, on all the journeys of life that God has invited us to enter into and all the healing God has provided. May we never give in to hopelessness and look elsewhere to a god the world creates. Enable us to be compassionate like Joseph to those around us. Give us the wisdom of Joseph so that we to will see your plan in every aspect of our lives. Gift us with a love like Joseph so that we to can make a difference with our lives. Touch us with the joy of Joseph so that we will always find the gift of God’s presence in everything we do. Good St. Joseph pray for us and watch over us. Help us to always find the value of family life no matter how difficult the world makes it. Amen!
