Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings everyone and happy feast of St. Matthias! I hope your day has started off well. It is another cloudy morning here in the New York area and I think there is a chance for rain again today. I am hoping that we see the sun at least a little today and the temperature gets a little warmer. I hope the weather is a little by you today.
It will be a busy day for me. I have two masses this morning and then I have our Through The Cross with Fr. Paul Livestream Show this afternoon https://thesundaymass.org/en/live you can also see us live on Facebook. If you are not doing anything or have the time at 3:00 pm this afternoon why not join us? As always if you are busy at 3:00 pm you can watch the show after its completion any time on The Sunday Mass website. Again, at 3:00 pm we will be livestreaming on the website and also on Facebook.
My prayer of blessing today is that we all will have a great day, one filled with many blessings. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: Loving Jesus, you have no body now on earth but mine, no hands but mind and no feet but mine. Mine are the eyes through which you look out with compassion on the world. Mine are the feet with which you go about doing good. Mine are the hands with which you bless people now. Jesus you have no body now on earth but mine so through me bless the world today. Amen! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Monday, your week, has started off on the right foot. If not, I pray your fortunes will change as the day and the week goes on.
My day here in the New York area begins with clouds, cool temperatures and most likely rain. It is the beginning of a busy day and a busy week. It would be nice if the sun were out and the temperature was about 20 degrees warmer, but I have much to do so I will look beyond the clouds, the rain and the coolness to the tasks at hand. I hope the weather where you are is a bit more motivating!
My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless our day with a strong faith, the hope of a new day and week and the love of many people in our life. Many we be blessed with God’s presence in our travels, our work and our encounters with others. May we be graced with much love from the people who mean the most in our life! Blessings upon everyone have a great Monday and a great week. You can be assured of my prayers as we journey through this week. May God bless us with the gift of bringing God’s joy to the world today! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Christ…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus, you have brought us the gift of abundant life. Give us eyes that can look beyond the glamor and trivia of the world to the richness of your loving presence as it comes to us in others, creation and ourselves. Grace us with hope so that we will not give into despair, anger, vengeance, hate and fear but through hope we will find the joy, grace and life you came to give us. May we come to know the full measure of life that you have promised and bring it to others! Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all and Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers today! I hope your Sunday is getting off to a good start. Here in the New York area we are to expect rain and cool temperatures, not the best weather day for a Mother’s Day! I hope the weather by you is better and please remember as you journey through your Mother’s Day give God a little time today!
In a little while I will be headed out to St. John and St. Mary’s Parish in Chappaqua, New York for the 7:30 am and 12 noon masses after which I will head back home to begin preparation for a very busy week ahead.
I would like to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers living and remember in a special way all mothers who are deceased, and all mothers who have touched our lives throughout the years. I would also like to remember expectant mothers as they prepare and wait for new life.
I hope all of you are having a great day and that you get the chance to honor your mother and all the mothers who have touched your life in some way. I always find it special honor my own mother as I celebrate mass and I will most happy to do that today.
I pray that we all will have a great Mother’s Day touched by the presence of God and if we are traveling today that we will do so safely. May all our encounters with others and our time alone today be rich in the joy of God grace and love. May God’s blessing be upon all mothers especially those who are expecting, and may we celebrate the gifts that all mothers offer us and touch our lives with today in a very special way. May God bless this day, and may it be a day of blessings that will help us to encounter the joy of life, especially the joy mothers bring into our lives! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul
Mother’s Day Prayer:
We thank you, God, Creator of us all, for our mothers.
We thank you that they gave us life and nurtured us all those years. They gave us our faith, helping us to know you and to know Jesus and his ways. They taught us how to love and how to sacrifice for others. They taught us that it was okay to cry and that we should always tell the truth.
Bless our mothers, with the graces they need and which you want to give them today. Help our mothers to feel precious in your eyes today and to know that we love them. Give our mothers strength and courage, compassion, peace and those who have passed eternal life.
Bless our mothers this day and always with your love. Amen (Adapted from a Mother’s Day Prayer found on Creighton University Ministries web site)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! Our Saturday here in the New York area has started with some sun and clouds. I am not sure what the rest of the day will bring but it has been a good morning so far. I hope your day has started off well, with a little sunshine and warm temperatures. If not, I pray the morning setbacks are only temporary and things will be humming along by the afternoon.

God's blessings to all today! And remember with each encounter of Jesus you are sent forth to proclaim the Good News. Peace in Christ's Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: Loving Jesus, we come before you this day. Take, Lord, and receive our heart: the words of faith that we speak, the works of justice that we do, our joys and sufferings. When we come to the eucharistic table, gather our offerings to your own for the life of the world and send us forth with the Good News in our heart. At the end of the day, place us with Mary, your mother, and for her sake take us to your heart. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by the Maryland Province of Jesuits)
