Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings everyone. I pray as always that you are navigating through these May Easter Season days with faith and a sense of hopefulness for the future.
As we begin our Thursday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I ran across a little saying some time ago, “Prayer may not change things for you, but it for sure changes you for things.” So, my prayer of blessing today is that we all will have a blessed, holy, safe and healthy day, one filled with many blessings. May God bless our work, our time alone or our time with others. May God’s blessings be upon those whom we love and upon us all! May God bless us so that we can live today in faith, hope, peace and joy! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope and pray you are navigating through this last day of April with faith and a sense of hopefulness. Perhaps we should focus on Jesus’ words in the Gospel today, “Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”
As we begin our Tuesday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing this morning is that our day will be blessed with the presence of God. May all that we do today, all that we encounter, all of our work, all of our interactions be touched with the grace of God and may our living of life today bring us a little closer to the peace Jesus promises. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord, make us instruments of your peace, where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen. (Adapted from the Prayer known as the Prayer of St. Francis) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all! (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As we draw April to a close, we remember the great Dominican doctor of the Church Saint Catherine of Siena. At age 6 she experienced a vision and dedicated her life to God. She is especially remembered for her spiritual reflections, The Dialogue. Like St. Catherine let us our prayer and our actions to the service of God this day and always. My prayer of blessing today is that God’s grace, blessing and presence will abound in us today. May our day be blessed with the richness of God’s peace, hope, joy and love. May we find the energy to make a joyful noise for God with our life today! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Grant us today, Lord, the wisdom to know what is worth knowing, to love what is worth loving, to praise what delights you most, to value what is precious in your sight, to walk away from what is not of you. Do not let us judge by what we see, nor pass judgment by what we hear, but help us to choose rightly between things that differ and above all to search out and do what pleases you. Help us to make this day and our life about praising you. Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all. I hope you are navigating through these April Easter Season days with faith and hopefulness.
As we begin our Sunday, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless you with an enjoyable Sunday especially if you are among family and/or friends. Through God’s love may your day offer you some rest and relaxation so that you might be ready to live a new week by sharing God’s love! I will leave you with this thought from Thomas Merton, “Love is the guarantee that the life of the Spirit is growing in us. Love is the sign of the Holy Spirit at work in the Church and in the world.” So, may God bless you with much love today and may you love much today. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Help us, O God, to be a good and true friends, to be loyal and never to let our friends down: never to talk about them behind their backs in a way that we would not do to their faces; never to betray a confidence or talk about things we should be silent about; always to be ready to share everything we have; to be as true to our friends as we would wish them to be to us. This we ask through the vine who is the greatest and truest of all friends, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by William Barclay)
