Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all. I hope as you read this that your Wednesday is or has started off well. With darkness still the order of the morning I am unsure what this day will bring weather wise. It is not raining or snowing at the moment but the experts say it will snow heavy throughout the day starting at any moment which doesn’t bode well for the closing day and evening of the mission. Right now it is wait and see.
I hope and pray your day will not be too busy and that you get a little chance to just enjoy the gift of this day in some unique and life-giving way. My prayer of blessing as I await the rising of the sun this morning or the coming of the snow is that we may all encounter many good people today and have may good experiences that will be rich in the presence of God. I pray that God will bless us all with the grace to see, feel and experience the goodness and joy of life in what we do today, in who we meet and perhaps most importantly in ourselves as we live this day. May our day be rich in God’s blessings! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your day is getting off to a good start. As the sun is not up yet I am not sure what this day will bring weather wise yet. They say another nor’easter is on its way. One day at a time!
We had a good beginning to the mission here at St. Raphael – Holy Angels Parish yesterday both in the morning and the evening. The community is enthusiastic and spirit filled which is what is most important. So please continue to keep the faith community of St. Raphael – Holy Angels in your prayers and if you have the time please offer a short prayer for their preacher! I pray that your day will be truly blessed with many good things and many encounters with God’s grace. If it hasn’t been a good start to the day I pray that your day will only get better and become rich in the presence of God. May you have a faith filled day with many blessings and much peace. As always you are in my prayers. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
We put between us and all evil, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all struggle, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all disappointment, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all loss, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all weakness, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all sinfulness, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and all violence, the Passion of Jesus Christ. We put between us and death, the Passion of Jesus Christ. May the Passion of Jesus Christ Be Always in Our Hearts...Amen! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Happy Feast of St. Joseph and Monday greetings to all. I hope your day has started off well and that you are looking forward to a productive and life-giving day.

Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you had a nice St. Patrick’s Day yesterday that is if you celebrate St. Patrick. It is a cold morning here in Hamilton, NJ. I made it here yesterday afternoon and we had a nice beginning to the mission as I preached the Saturday evening mass. Today will be a full morning of masses and then a little break until the 5:00 pm Life Teen mass this evening. I am looking forward to these next few days as the community seem spirit filled and excited about the mission. I am hoping and praying we don't have to deal with another nor'easter on Tuesday and Wednesday!
Please pray for the faith community here at St. Raphael – Holy Angels Parish and also for their preacher! I ask God’s blessing on all of us that we journey through this Fifth Sunday of Lent that it may be a peaceful, restful and life-giving day. May God bless us with the richness of family, friends, and a day touched by God’s loving presence. May God bless all of us as we ready ourselves to begin a new work week. May the week ahead be one that runs smoothly and peacefully with many graced moments! Have a wonderful graced filled day everyone! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen! (Prayer Associated with St. Francis of Assisi)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Top o' the morn to all! Saturday greetings and blessings and Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone. I hope you are celebrating at least a little because you know there is a little Irish in everyone even if it is just your smile, so celebrate a little.
I hope this finds you well and enjoying the beginning of this St. Patrick’s Day. If that is too optimistic for you, I hope this finds you well and beginning a new day with the hope of a good day or at least a day that will get better than this moment! I will head out later today for St. Raphael – Holy Angels Parish in Hamilton, New Jersey. The mission service will be at 8:15 am mass and at 7:15 pm Monday through Wednesday at St. Raphael’s Church. Please keep the faith community at St. Raphael – Holy Angel’s and their preacher in your prayers this week! My prayer of blessing today is that you will have a great St. Patrick’s Day, with many blessings. May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. If you are celebrating today may you do so safely and joyfully. May we all be blessed with the strength of God to guide us, the power of God to uphold us, and the wisdom of God to enlighten us. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: As I arise today, may the strength of God pilot me, the power of God uphold me, the wisdom of God guide me. May the eye of God look before me, the ear of God hear me, the word of God speak for me. May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me, the shield of God defend me, the host of God save me. May Christ shield me today. Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit, Christ when I stand, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by St. Patrick)
