Today’s Blessing Prayer: Happy Easter Wednesday everyone! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual days with a sense of hope and some joy in your life!
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I send Easter blessings to all of you today. As I was spending some time in prayer this morning I reflected on the fact that whenever I get to this week each year I think of the movie Ground Hog Day, because for these eight days of the Easter Octave each day we celebrate Easter Again. So Happy Easter and may God bless us today with the gift of Easter joy wherever we are and in whatever we are doing. May we be found rich today in the grace and presence of God and may we find creative ways to share our Easter joy with others who are part of our lives. May our hearts burn today with the presence and the spirit of the Risen Lord! Peace in Christ's Passion and the Risen Lord...Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Jesus, we come before you at the beginning of this day. Take Lord and receive our hearts; the words of faith that we speak, the works of justice that we do, our joys and sufferings. When we come to the Eucharistic table of life, gather our offerings to your own for the life of the world. At the end of this day, place us with Mary, your mother, and for her sake take our hearts to your heart. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by the Maryland Province of Jesuits)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessing to all! I hope you are once again navigating through these unusual and at times difficult days. I think we all live in the hope that in the not to, to distant future we will be out and about in a little more normal routine. As I said we can hope!

That your sheltering in place gives you the opportunity to pause and listen for Jesus to speak your name today just has he did in our Gospel to Mary Magdalene. May all our lives today be touch by our joy filled God and that we will encounter God’s loving presence in many ways as you make your way through this day! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving Jesus, come back into our society, our family life, our hearts, and reign there as our peaceful God. Enlighten us with the splendor of faith and the love of your tender heart so that we will work for the good of all your people, especially those in need, impart on us your own spirit, a spirit of discipline, serenity and gentleness preserving the flame of enthusiasm always alight in our hearts. May this day be a day when you find a home at the center of our life and are borne on our shoulders as your joyful Easter people. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by St. John XXIII)

Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving Jesus, when all is darkness and we feel our weakness, give us the sense of your presence, your mercy, your love and your strength. Help us to have complete trust in your protecting love and strengthening power, so that nothing may frighten or worry us, for, living close to you, we will see your hand, your purpose, your will in all things. Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by St. Ignatius of Loyola)

We thank you for all that you have shared with us, taught us and lived for us. Grace us now with an Easter faith that looks into an empty tomb and believes. Enliven our heart to be on fire with the hope that your love is everlasting. May the Easter mystery make us proclaimers of your Word and carriers of your Light. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Holy Saturday blessings and greetings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and difficult times. I must admit that I found yesterday rather difficult not being able to be a part of a Good Friday liturgy. There were certainly several them on the internet, from Rome and many other places but I chose to just sit in our small chapel from about 2:00 pm until about 5:00 pm. I said formal prayers, read the readings of the day but mostly I just sat in silence. At time it felt odd and sad, but I also felt connected in an unusual way to my faith and God. I pray that you were able to find a way that was helpful to you to celebrate Good Friday!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Today, Holy Saturday, is a time of waiting. It is a time between the death of Jesus and his resurrection. It is different this year because it seems all we have been doing for the last month is waiting. Waiting for the virus to pass so that we can get back to life as we know it. The women and the disciples only had to wait three days. We still must wait. I pray that our time of waiting will end soon. That we will be able to rise to a new life! My prayer of blessing today is that your Holy Saturday may be rich in the warmth of the sun, that it may be a day when you can hope for all the goodness that Easter is and for an end to our waiting, our social distancing. May we be blessed soon with a new life of joy that will enliven the journey of our life in new and faith filled ways! Blessings on your Holy Saturday journey and please know you are in my prayers throughout this day and always! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God as we wait today make ready our hearts that they may be inflamed with your presence. Enkindle in them the fire of your love. Grace our souls with the song of your hope, a song, and a tune that will never stop. Strengthen us with patience, strengthen us with energy, gift us with wisdom and enliven us with joy. We make this prayer as your faith filled people embraced by your love and dancing to the rhythm of the song of hope! Amen!
