Today’s Blessing Prayer: Good Friday greetings and blessings to all! I trust you are navigating through these Triduum days with faith and hope.
On this Good Friday I once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I hope you will be able to at least find a few moments of quiet to make holy this Good Friday. Perhaps you can sit for a little while before the Cross of Christ and remember that God so loved the world that he gave us his only Son and if we believe God offers us the gift of eternal life. I pray that as you journey through this Good Friday that you might get out to your local parish to attend the afternoon service of The Lord’s Passion, or perhaps the Stations of the Cross or at least watch the Lord’s Passion Service on TV or the internet sometime today any of these options would be an excellent way to celebrate Good Friday. It is one of the simplest and most beautiful liturgies that we have as a Church. My prayer of blessing today is that somehow on this Good Friday we will be touch by the magnanimous love of God. That we will be blessed with the grace to believe in God’s love. A love that is ground in our friendship with Jesus because there is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends, Jesus laid down his life today for us, his friends. I send my prayers and I ask God's blessings upon all of you and your loved ones. May the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ be always in our hearts! Peace in Christ's Passion today and always...Fr. Paul Note: At 7:30 pm EDT this evening I will pray the Stations of the Cross online. Perhaps you might take some time to pray with me? Go to www.preacherman.org and make the journey to Calvary with me.

Today’s Prayers: Today I offer you two simple little prayers to guide you through this day. The first comes from our Passionist tradition it is a simple prayer we utter each day - "May the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ be always in our hearts!"
The second prayer was written by the great Jesuit theologian Fr. Karl Rahner, S.J. - "The Cross of My Lord, Be my Standard, Be my Comfort, Be the Answer to all dark questions, The Light of all nights, The Sign that You have chosen us, The mysterious and sure Sign that we are Yours for eternity. Amen." Today’s Blessing Prayer: Holy Thursday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope that you are navigating through these April and Triduum days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
As we begin our journey through this holy Triduum, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing for all of us on this Holy Thursday is that the infinite tenderness of God might touch our lives and that we will be blessed over these most holy days with the mercy and joy of the Cross, which springs from the knowledge that we possess an imperishable treasure in these perishable earthen vessels. Holy Thursday blessings to all! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, in the fullness of time you revealed your love in Jesus. On this remembrance of the eve of his death, we recall how as a sign of your covenant, Jesus washed the feet of his friends and gave himself as Eucharist.
We pray today that you will give us life through the Eucharist and the gift of your joy to follow Christ in humble service. So that one day we may pass over from this world to your kingdom and enjoy the blessing of eternal joy. Amen! Today’s Blessing Prayer: Greetings and blessings to all on this Spy Wednesday. I hope you are navigating through these final Lenten days with faith and a sense of hopefulness!
As we journey through this most holy week, I once again offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) As we begin this last full day of Lent and perhaps to enter the Triduum my prayer of blessing is that our day, will be filled with God’s many blessings and that we will take some time to enter into the holiness of these next few days. May God bless us these Holy Days and always with the trust, the faith, the hope, the love, the mercy and the joy to never give up on our relationship with God. That we will always know even in the midst of our struggles and the struggles of the world that God is with us and that God will never leave us to face life alone! Have a blessed and holy day. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: At the name of Jesus every knee must bend in heaven, on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father! Loving God, help us to always be faithful and may the gods of the world not temp us into betraying our friendship with you. Grace us with the strength to always trust in your presence especially when we struggle. Help us to keep hope and joy alive through your word and sacrament! Amen!

Help us to be people who fall in love with you again! You know the weakness of our human hearts. Grace us with hearts alive with your joy filled love. Gift us with faith filled spirits that will help us to make good choices as we journey through this life to the mystery of your everlasting love! Amen!
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday of Holy Week greetings and blessings to all. I hope you are continuing to navigate through these last Lenten days with faith, hope and love. As we journey through this most Holy Week, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer…
O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I ask God this morning to bless this Holy Week and fill it with many graces. May the God of Abraham and Sarah, the God of the woman with the alabaster jar of oil, the God of Martha, Mary and Lazarus, the God of Peter, James and John, the God of Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, the God of the Centurion standing at the Cross, bless and be with all of us as we make our way through this most Holy Week. My prayers of blessing are with all of you today, throughout this week and always. In the quiet and unbusy moments of these days please give sometime to God, even if you are finding life busy with many things. Take some time this week to connect with God in some special way. You will not regret it! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, help us to enter more deeply into this journey of Holy Week. May we always have the faith of true friendship with you. May our actions express this friendship and thus make your presence known to all that we meet. Touch us with your extravagant love so in our moments of doubt and struggle we will not turn away from you but turn towards you trusting in your compassionate love. Give us hearts which are humble and open to forgiveness. Give us spirits alive with your joy and love. Amen!
