Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all on this Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary! I hope you are once gain navigating through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and hope for the future.
Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is that God will bless all of us with a beautiful day, one in which we will celebrate the gift of life. May we be blessed with a day that is fun and filled with moments and encounters of joy and hope. May we be blessed with a day of rest and enjoyment. Please know as always, you are in my prayers and be safe and have a blessed, holy, and healthy day. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer:
All Loving God, as we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary this day, we ask that by the help of her prayers we might strengthen our own hearts and come to share your blessings this day and always. O holy Mary, mother of all mercy, you are our life, our love and our hope. This day we call out to you, in all our humanness, in all our failings. To you we send our prayers, our thoughts, our tears, our joys. Turn your eyes, O most loving Mother toward us that we might always hold the presence of your Loving Son in our lives. O Compassionate, O Loving, O Tender Mother Mary. Direct our prayers always though Christ, your Son, our Savior. Amen! (Adapted from the Prayer - Hail Holy Queen) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Friday greetings and blessings to all. Once again, I hope you are navigating through these unusual and at time difficult days with faith and a hopefulness in the future.
I would like to thank everyone for your prayer yesterday. Our Sunday Mass taping day went well. It was the final taping day of this season. We now have masses taped through the end of October. We will begin our new taping season at the end of September. Thank you for your prayers! Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I hope your Friday has started off well wherever you are and in whatever you are doing. I pray that all of us, and those we love will be blessed by God’s Love as we celebrated it in the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus today. May all our endeavors be blessed today, all our encounters with others, and all our work today. Most of all may our Friday be blessed with smiles, good weather, interesting people, wonderful experiences, fun, joy, faith, hope, mercy, and the presence of God! Peace in the Sacred Heart of Christ and his Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: We come to you Jesus on the Solemnity of your most Sacred Heart, for you are our refuge and our hope. You are the strength that keeps us going through all that is wrong in our lives, the forgiveness for all our faults and failings, the comfort for all our struggles, the peace for all our anxieties, the enhancement for all our imperfections, and the hope in all our prayers.
You are the only one who never wearies of us and who offers us grace in the midst of our faults, because you love us so much with an infinite love. You are the one always in search of us especially when we follow a different path. So, we ask you, loving Jesus, to have mercy on us and do with us, and be for us, and be within us, whatever you want. We give our hearts to you, hoping that the gift of love that flows from your most Sacred Heart will never leave us to face the struggles and difficulties of life alone. Amen. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these unusual and at times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness in the future.
My thoughts today center around two quotes from Thomas Merton. The first is from his book, New Seeds of Contemplation and the second is from the book, Thoughts in Solitude. “Our vocation is not simply to be, but to work together with God in the creation of our own life, our own identity, our own destiny...To work out our identity in God.” (New Seeds of Contemplation) “Ask me not where I live or what I like to eat . . . Ask me what I am living for and what I think is keeping me from living fully that.” (Thoughts in Solitude) I picked these two quotes today because it is the 34th anniversary of my ordination to the priesthood and I am hoping that over my life time especially these last 34 years I have worked with God to find my identity and that I am truly living for Jesus even though at times my humanness, my struggles, my faults and failing get in the way of my friendship with God and in my service to others. As I celebrate this day, I turn to my good friend, St. Paul, for guidance and strength in the hope that I will always live every aspect of my life in faith, discourse, knowledge, all earnestness, and in the love of God as it is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. And that I will always excel in the gracious act of love that God has given to me by making sure my love for God and others is always genuine. As I celebrate today, I pray for all who have touched my life especially during the last 34 years! Thank you all for helping me be the man of faith, the Passionist and priest I am today even in the midst of my faults and failings. May I always serve you out of God’s love. I would also like to send a shout out to my brother, Jim, on his birthday today! Happy Birthday Jim! Many blessings today and always. I hope you are able to have a great day! I would ask your prayers today for The Sunday Mass ministry team and production team as we have a taping day today. Prayers for a good and faith filled day would be appreciated! Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. May God’s blessings be upon our work, our endeavors, our encounters with others, our struggling moments, our smiling moments and upon all that we do and all whom you meet. Please know that you are always in my prayers…Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope that you are continuing to make your way through these unusual and times difficult days with faith and a hopefulness in the future.

Today is a set-up day and tomorrow is our taping day. Please if you get a little chance say a prayer for us that all goes well. May the day be rich in experiences, in people, in smiles, in laughter, in fun, in love, in strength and in God’s grace, joy and peace. Have a blessed, holy, safe, and healthy Wednesday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Eternal and loving God, it is so easy for us to worship ourselves, to do things so that others see and think highly of us. If we live our life this way, forgive us. If we trust in our possessions, in our things, in our actions that are seen and, in the glory, that they bring us rather than in you, forgive us. Heal the fear, the doubt and the insecurity that may create faith in the wrong things. Restore a wholesome perspective that puts you at the center. We pray that through your grace you will help us to live life around the lasting values of humble prayer, cheerful service and our hope in you, our loving God. Amen!

My prayer of blessing today is that our day will be rich with God’s blessings upon our work, our encounters with others, upon those whom we love and upon us! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: God of all hope, renew in us today the courage to live life to its fullest. Help us to especially stand for and live out the values that Jesus taught us, humility, courage, compassion, mercy, forgiveness and love. Grace us with your wisdom to know how to best live our life in you. When opposition comes our way help us to not give in to fear and cowardice, help us not to strike back with violence and anger, help us not to react out of pride and judgment. Help us to be humble, prayerful people of faith, humble people alive with hope and ready to offer your love. Amen!
