Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope and pray you are navigating through these Lenten days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) May God bless us all today with the gifts of faithfulness, hopefulness, and loving care for others. May God bless us with the strength to stake our lives on the promises of God. Have a faith filled day with many blessings and much peace. As always you are in my prayers. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) The mission here at Holy Rosary – St. Richard Parish continues today. We had a nice open day and evening yesterday. There is a nice spirit to the community that gathers. So, I would ask your continued prayers for all the people making the mission and for their preacher. If you could say a little extra prayer for the preacher today as I will be doing a program for the school kids! My prayer of blessing for all of us today is that God to bless our day and whatever we will be doing. May today truly be a day rich in the presence of God for us, for those we love and for everyone we encounter! May any travel we do be safe. May we always bring the gift of God’s presence to every situation and every person we encounter. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, we pray today not just for ourselves but also for those who lead us. Give us and all in leadership the wisdom to see the value of humility and service. Help us to overcome the desires of entitlement, power, influence and status. Grant us the grace to be compassionate, hope filled and loving servants and shepherds. Guide us with your love so that everything we do will show the saving power of God. Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I formally begin the mission here at Holy Rosary – St. Richard Parish this morning. I would ask your prayers for the faith community here and for their preacher! My prayer of blessing today is that we will have a great day, with many blessings as we begin a new school week, work week, mission week or just a new week. May it be one that runs smoothly and peacefully with many graced moments! May we all be blessed with the strength of God to guide us, the power of God to uphold us, the wisdom of God to enlighten us. Many blessings today wherever we are, upon whatever we are or will be doing and upon whomever we meet and interact with. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Great and awesome God, bless us today with the gifts of your mercy and forgiveness not just for our own lives but that these gifts will be alive within us. Help us to be your disciples who bring a positive attitude and voice to the world today. Grace us with the wisdom to find the goodness in ourselves and the people we encounter. Guide us so that we do not respond to a negative with a negative. Make us workers who help to build your peaceable Kingdom as we live our life today! Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I began the Parish Lenten Mission here at Holy Rosary and St. Richard Parish last night by celebrating and preach at the Saturday evening mass and I have three masses to preach today. Again. I would ask your prayers for the Faith Community here as and for their preacher! My prayer of blessing is that today will offer all of us the opportunity to be blessed with a restful and peaceful day that will nourishes and refreshes us for the journey of a new week and whatever it brings to our life! I hope and pray that you find a little time for God today and when you do may you be blessed with the richness of God’s presence, grace, mercy and everlasting love. Remember as we hear in the Responsorial Psalm today, let us “walk before the Lord, in the land of the living.” From my perspective it is a wonderful thought with which to begin a new day! Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, you invite us to listen to and walk with your chosen Son, Jesus. Nourish us today with his Word and Eucharist that we might have the spiritual sight and hearing that only a life of faith can bring. Help us to rejoice in the hope of your presence in our life. Grace us with your love that we may always hear your voice and see your face and live with you as our light and salvation. Bless us with a faith that always keeps us amazed and open to your loving presence. Amen!

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Just a note – I am on the road again. I am currently in Miami, Florida getting ready to begin a Parish Mission at Holy Rosary – St. Robert Parish. The mission will begin this evening and continue with me preaching all the masses over the weekend and then celebrating the mission from Monday thru Wednesday. I would ask you to keep the parish and the people who come to the mission in your prayers and if you could say a little extra prayer for their preacher it would be greatly appreciated! My prayer of blessing on this Saturday is that your love may more and more abound both in understanding and wealth of experience and that through the blessings of God love and mercy you will always value the things that really matter. May God blessing us all with the hope and joy of the Gospel this day and always! Remember to give God a little time this weekend. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, help us to live by your words. Guide us in the way of compassion, respect, caring, forgiving and love. Keep us focused on Jesus' way of disarming the evil in our life. Do not let us give in to the world’s view of power, might and right. Grace us so we can forgive when forgiveness is needed. Grace us with the humility to seek forgiveness when we have hurt others. Renew in us the Spirit of your love so that we might see today as the acceptable time to live by your words! Amen!
