Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope and pray you are navigating through these Lenten days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I offer my prayer of blessing for all of us. May God’s healing, mercy and peace be with us as we journey through this day and this week. May we trust in God’s plan for us and may God bless this day and week, and may it be one filled with many moments of God’s presence and may we be open to the blessings God offers us during this day. May God bless each one of us, our loved ones and all the people on this journey through life today. In those moments of struggle this day take a deep breath and know that God is with us because we believe and trust that God is always with us. Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul

(Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I want to thank you for all your prayers this week during my mission here at Holy Rosary – St. Richard Parish. We closed the mission last night and all three days saw a wonderful spirit here. I will spend a portion of my St. Patrick’s Day traveling back to New York from Miami. I will miss the faith community here and the warm weather! In honor of St. Patrick’s Day an old Irish blessing, may God give you, for every storm, a rainbow, for every tear, a smile. For every care, a promise; a blessing for every trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh, a sweet song, and an answer for every prayer. Have a great Thursday and St. Patrick’s Day everyone and my prayer of blessing today goes out to everyone that you may encounter the love of God in some special way today; through the gesture of another person, through an experience of life, through an encounter with God within yourself. May God’s love enliven a well-spring of joy within you that you can share with all you meet today. And may you find the joy and mercy of God within you and share it with the world! May today be a day of many blessings and a day without too much stress! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: As I arise today, may the strength of God pilot me, the power of God uphold me, the wisdom of God guide me. May the eye of God look before me, the ear of God hear me, the word of God speak for me. May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me, the shield of God defend me, the host of God save me. May Christ shield me today. Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit, Christ when I stand, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by St. Patrick)
