Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all and Happy Father’s Day to all fathers! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these June days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers who check into my reflections from time to time. I would like to remember my own father today in a specially way. He has been gone physically many years now, but he is always with me in a spiritual sense. I greatly appreciate his spirit in my life and may his everlasting spirit continue to guide and love me! My prayer of blessing today is that you will be blessed with the spirit of faith to help you on this journey of life. May you be blessed with the spirit of hope to get you through the rough times. May you be blessed with the spirit of love to remind you in whose image and likeness you are created in, how special you are and that you are never alone. As you journey through this day may you know that Jesus is with you always and will never leave you to face your struggles alone! Father’s Day blessings to all fathers and Sunday blessings to all! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Perhaps on Father’s Day our prayer should simply be –
Our Father, Who art in heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are navigating through these June and very late Spring days with faith and hope for the future.

All Loving God, as we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary this day, we ask that by the help of her prayers we might strengthen our own hearts and come to share your blessings this day and always. O holy Mary, mother of all mercy, you are our life, our love and our hope. This day we call out to you, in all our humanness, in all our failings. To you we send our prayers, our thoughts, our tears, our joys. Turn your eyes, O most loving Mother toward us that we might always hold the presence of your Loving Son in our lives. O Compassionate, O Loving, O Tender Mother Mary. Direct our prayers always though Christ, your Son, our Savior. Amen! (Adapted from the Prayer - Hail Holy Queen) |
