Today’s Prayer:
Loving God help us to remember that you are with us today. Help us to bring to mind your loving presence within us and around us. Never let us be closed to your loving presence in the world, in others and in ourselves. Never let us be closed through judgmentalness, negativity and anger. Open our minds to remember your presence. Open our mouths to speak your wisdom. Open our hearts to extend your love. Open our hands to serve you generously. Open our whole being to you this day and always. Amen! Today’s Prayer:
Loving God, Thank you for your presence during the hard and mean days. For then we have you to lean upon. Thank you for your presence during the bright and sunny days. For then we can share that which we have with those who have less. Thank you for your presence during the Holy Days and Holidays. For then we are able to celebrate you and our families and our friends. For those who have no voice, we ask you to speak. For those who feel unworthy, we ask you to pour your love out in waterfalls of tenderness. For those who live in pain, we ask you to bathe them in the river of your healing. For those who are lonely, we ask you to keep them company. For those who are depressed, we ask you to shower upon them the light of hope. Loving God, You, the borderless sea of substance, we ask you to give to all the world that which we need most—Peace. (Adapted from a Prayer by Maya Angelou) Today's Blessing Prayer: Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend when well. My prayer of blessing today is that your journey through today may it be a good one. May you live by faith today and trust in the gift that you are. May God recognize your faith and bless you as he blessed the centurion in the Gospel today. If you are struggling with your faith may you decide to return home so that God can run to meet you and hold you in his arms as the father did in the Gospel of the Forgiving Father. Blessings today upon all you do, upon everyone you meet and most importantly upon all of you! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer:
Loving God, grant that we may never fall away in success or in failure; that we may not be prideful in prosperity nor dejected in adversity. Let us rejoice only in what unites us and sorrow only in what separates us. May we strive to please no one or fear to displease anyone except you. May we see always the things that are eternal and never those that are only mundane. May we shun any joy that is without you and never seek any that is beside you. May we delight in any work we do for you and tire of any rest that is apart from you. Let us direct our hearts towards you, and in our failings, always repent with a purpose of improvement. Loving God may we always live by faith! Amen. (Adapted from a prayer by St. Thomas Aquinas) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessing to all. I hope your weekend is going well. Blessings today upon all you do, upon everyone you meet and most importantly upon all of you and don’t forget to give God a little time today. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer:
O God, Creator of the universe, renew for us the wonders of your mercy: send forth your Spirit to work in the intimacy of our hearts, that enemies may begin to dialogue, that adversaries may shake hands, and that all peoples may encounter one another in harmony. May we all commit ourselves to the sincere search for true peace which will extinguish all arguments; may we commit ourselves to charity which overcomes hatred; may we commit ourselves to forgiveness which disarms revenge. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. John Paul II) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your day is starting off well and that you will have a nice relaxing weekend.

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, my entire will-- all that I am and possess. You have given all this to me. I now return it all to you. It is yours now. Use these gifts according to your will. Give me only your love and your grace. That is enough for me, and all that I desire. (Prayer by St. Ignatius Loyola) |
