Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings to everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend, one that provide you with a little rest and relaxation or the company of family and good friends or the solitude and quiet of just being able to enjoy life or perhaps a little of all three!
I hope your week ahead will not be too busy and if you are facing busyness, struggles, challenges or uncertainly please know that you are in my prayers. Following the theme of the Gospel today my prayer of blessing for you is that you, in the midst of your busy life are open to the many experiences of God that will touch your life today! Loving God I ask your blessing upon us today that even though our lives are filled with many things, even though we are busy about many things, even though sometimes it is hard to know you are with us that you will gift us today with your grace to be aware of the many times, many ways and the many people that bring your presence to us. Help us to not miss the unexpected. Help us to be open to your mysterious ways. Bless my friends as they live life today! Have a great Monday! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: Today, grace us O loving God with minds to know you, hearts to seek you, wisdom to find you, a living of life that will be pleasing to you, faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and the hope of finally embracing you. Amen.
(Adapted from a prayer by St. Thomas Aquinas) While it is Sunday it is also the Feast of St. Teresa of Avila so in her honor I offer you this prayer today...
Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now on earth but yours. (St. Teresa of Avila) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your Sunday has started off well and that you have set aside a little time for God sometime today?
My blessing prayer for our Sunday is that your journey through this Sunday may be a good one. May you live by faith today and trust in the gift that you are. May God recognize your faith and bless you with the trust and willingness to let go and let God. If you are struggling with your faith may you find the strength to trust in the presence of God in your life. Blessings today upon all you do, upon everyone you meet and most importantly upon all of you. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord Jesus, bind us to you and to our neighbor with us love. May our hearts not be turned away from you. May our souls not be deceived nor our talents or minds enticed by error, so that we never distance ourselves from your love. Thus, may we love our neighbor as ourselves with strength, wisdom, and gentleness. With your help, you who are blessed throughout all ages. Amen (Prayer by St. Anthony of Padua)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your Saturday has gotten off to a good start. My prayer of blessing for all of you today is that God will bless all your endeavors, your encounters, your times of solitude, your moments of busyness and your times of rest today. May this day be what you need it to be. May it be a gift from God that enables you to find the present of God in your life, especially within yourself! Have a great Saturday and don’t forget to give a little time to God this weekend. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
Today’s Prayer: O God, turn us into the arms, hands, legs and feet of your beloved Son, Jesus. You gave birth to us on the earth to become his living body. Make us worthy to be his arms, hands, legs and feet and so worthy to share in his eternal life. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. Hildegard of Bingen)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Happy Friday everyone! I hope your day has started out well and that you are looking forward to a good day and a relaxing weekend.
I would ask you to keep my classmate Fr. Chris Cleary, C.P. in your prayers. He is in the hospital dealing with a virus around his heart. It is a difficult and scary time for him so please in your prayers today remember him! My prayer of blessing for all of you today comes for the words of another Paul, a much greater Paul than me – Today I say to all of you as you live this day: rejoice! Let me say it again: rejoice! As you live today let your kindness should be known to all. Have faith God is always near. Live today with no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, my friends in the Passion, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in the people of faith around you. If you do this then the God of peace will be with you today and always. (Adapted from the words of St. Paul to the Philippians) Blessings to all! Have a great Friday! Peace in Christ Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, give us today day the wisdom to see which things are important, and which things are not. Show us how best to use the time and talents you have given us. Help us to use all our opportunities wisely, that we may share, through service to others, the good gifts we have received from you. Amen.
