Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your Thursday is starting off well? If not remember you are in my prayers throughout the day in the hope by the end of this day you will have encounter the presence of God that will make all the difference.
We are expecting our first wintery mix of weather here in the New York area sometime today. Not the kind of weather I am looking for, but I have not control over it. I hope the weather by you is a little more life-giving! My prayer of blessing for all us today is – Loving God, giver of all good gifts, bless us today with hearts that love you, so that by deepening our sense of respect and reverence for you we may nurture within ourselves and others only what is good. Bless us with your watchful care throughout this day so that wherever we go and whatever we do it will be for you. Bring us home safe to those we love that we might celebrate the gift of family, of friendship, of community, of your love so that our sleep will be restful, and we will be energized to welcome you tomorrow! Blessings upon everyone as you journey through this day! It is good to be back connected with you. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul

Today’s Prayer: O Lord, your word is as firm as the heavens, keep us always united that firmly to you. Then we will experience how blessed are those whose help comes from you. Where we are blind, you will enable us to see. May your kingdom always extend over us, your kingdom of strength and sweetness. Amen! (Adapted from a prayer by Fr. Carroll Stuhlmueller, C.P.)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Wednesday is starting off well. The rain has stopped but the cold is settling in. We are to possibly get a wintery mix of weather tomorrow. Winter seem to be approaching rather quickly. I hope the weather by you is a little better.
My blessing prayer today is that God will bless us today with a sense of reverence for life and the presence of God. That like the ten lepers in the Gospel today we ask God’s mercy on all who are in need of God’s mercy this day. Finally, we ask God to strengthen our faith so that we may believe in the mercy of God that can bring healing, health and peace to all. Loving God bless us with your peace so that the struggles, the difficulties and the challenges of this day do not get us down but help us to know of your presence and love in our life! Loving God renew our spirits so that we may live this day in your service, in your presence and in your love. Help us to always be thankful for all that you have done for us. Amen! Blessings throughout your Wednesday everyone. Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer:
Loving God, Make us instruments of your peace. Where there is hatred, let us sow love, Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. O God of Peace, grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. (Adapted from a prayer attributed to St. Francis of Assisi) Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessings to all! I hope your day has started off well? It is a very rainy morning here in the New York area. It started in the middle of the night and is still coming down as I write. It is going to be a yucky morning, but it is supposed to come to an end by the afternoon. My guess is that it will be a damp and chilly day! I hope the weather is nicer by you.
My prayer of bless for today – Loving God bless us – Bless us and keep us safe. Let your face shine upon us and show us your compassion and mercy especially in those moments when we may struggle. May your love and peace embrace us, all we meet and especially those we love. May our journeys be safe, and may we find our way home at some point today to enjoy your gift of a restful evening and night. Amen! Blessings to all and enjoy your day! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: O God, strengthen us with the grace of your Holy Spirit and give your peace to our souls that we may be free from all needless anxiety, solicitude, and worry. Help us to desire always what is pleasing and acceptable to you so that your will may be our will. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Monday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Monday is getting off to a good start?
My prayer of blessing for all of you today is that as you journey through your Monday may it be a good journey. May you live by faith and trust in the gift that you are. May you place your gift, your light, on a stand in the middle of the room so that it will give light to the whole house, to everywhere you go and to everyone you meet. Blessings today upon all you do, upon everyone you meet and most importantly upon all of you! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Lord God, enable us to seek you in integrity of heart, so that we can balance and unite all the parts and obligations of our lives along your everlasting way. Grant that we may always find you, even if we journey to the farthest end of the heavens. In all that we do, we long to see your face and receive your blessing. Amen (Adapted from a prayer by Fr. Carroll Stuhlmueller, C.P.)
Today’s Blessing Prayer: Sunday greetings and blessings to all. I hope your Sunday has started off well. It is supposed to be a beautiful sunny and chilly day here in the New York area. I hope the weather by you has you energized to live this new day.
I would like to send a shout out to my sister, Bernadette and my brother-in-law, John as celebrate their 46th Wedding Anniversary today! Happy Anniversary! Many blessings today and always. Hopefully, you will take some time and celebrate today. As we celebrate this Veteran’s Day, I ask God to bless us all today with a sense of reverence for life and the presence of God. There were many women and men who served our country by giving their life and we ask God to hold them today and always in his eternal hands. Countless others served yet returned home with shattered lives and we ask God’s mercy and healing for them. Finally, we ask God to strengthen our faith so that we may believe in the mercy of God that can bring healing, health and peace to all. I will be off in a little while to celebrate the 7:30 am Mass at St. John and St. Mary Parish in Chappaqua, NY and then I hope to spend a quiet afternoon and evening at home to recharge from the busy week just finished and prepare for the busy week ahead! I am just going to relax and enjoy the gift of the Lord’s day. I hope you will get a chance at some point today to do the same and remember to give God a little time today! My prayer of blessing today is that whatever you are doing this weekend, relaxing, watching football, working, traveling, getting ready for the week ahead or just being I pray that God’s blessing will be upon your Sunday filling it with the richness of joy, hope and the goodness of God’s presence. May the presence of God bring joy to your heart today! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul Today’s Prayer: Loving God, grants us peace, goodness; and blessing, life grace and kindness; justice and mercy. Father bless us all together with the light of your presence, for in the light of your presence you give us truth and life, love and kindness, justice and mercy, blessing and peace. And in your eyes, it is good to bless your people with great strength and peace. Blessed are you, O God, who blesses your people with peace. Amen (Adapted from a Traditional Jewish Prayer)
