Today’s Blessing Prayer: Thursday greetings everyone. I pray as always that you are continuing to navigate through these Easter Season and May days with faith and a sense of hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I ran across a little saying some time ago, “Prayer may not change things for you, but it for sure changes you for things.” So, my prayer of blessing today is that we all will have a blessed, holy, safe and healthy day, one filled with many blessings. May God bless our work, our time alone or our time with others. May God’s blessings be upon those whom we love and upon us all! May God bless us so that we can live today in faith, hope, peace and joy! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul
