Today’s Blessing Prayer: Wednesday greetings and blessings to everyone! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these cold November days with faith and a hopefulness for the future.
Once again, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) My prayer of blessing today is this – Loving God I pray today for my family and friends. I pray for all who ask me to pray for them or to remember a prayer request that they have. I pray for all who are in need of prayer. What follows Lord, is my prayer for all of us - so please bless us with your presence however we may need it. I prayer for all in need of prayer... May there be peace within us. May we trust God that we are exactly where we are meant to be. May we not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May we use the gifts that we have received and pass on the love that has been given to us. May we be content knowing we are children of God. Let God’s presence settle into our bones, and allow our soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. God’s presence is there for every one of us. Today - Amen! Loving God bless all in need today with this prayer! Have a blessed and holy Wednesday everyone. If you happen to be traveling today, please travel safe! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
