Today’s Blessing Prayer: Tuesday greetings and blessing to all! I hope you are once again navigating through these early Easter days with faith and hope.
Once again as we journey through this Easter week, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) Friends I am asking for your prayers today. As you may know I am responsible for our residence house here in New Rochelle and I am currently dealing with two problems involving the care of the house. One problem a leak in the roof that I thought I has solved last fall and a new leak in one of the bathrooms that will require tsking up a new floor in order to get at the leak and the person who uses the bathroom is non too pleased. I am not the best at dealing with this fix it stuff so could you say a little prayer for me so that I don’t go off the deep end! – Thanks in advance. My prayer of blessing for all of you is that your day will be filled with Easter joy as you make your own journey through these octave days. That Easter days give you the opportunity to pause and listen for Jesus to speak your name just has he did in our Gospel to Mary Magdalene. May all our lives today be touch by our joy filled God and that we will encounter God’s loving presence in many ways as you make your way through this day! Peace in Christ’s Passion…Fr. Paul
