Today’s Blessing Prayer: Saturday greetings and blessings to all! I hope you are continuing to navigate through these difficult and unusual days with faith and a hopefulness for the future!
I would like to thank all of you who offered a prayer for The Sunday Mass crew yesterday. after almost three months we got back to taping yesterday. It was certainly a different experience with no congregation and a smaller production and ministerial crew but it turned into a very wonderful experience and I think the outcome will be appreciated by all who join us each Sunday on TV, You Tube and the internet. So, thanks for your prayers they certainly helped! Once again as we journey through this uncertain time, I offer you Pope Francis’ Prayer… O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope. We entrust ourselves to you, and the Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus’ pain, with steadfast faith. You, Salvation of All People, know what we need. We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father’s will and to do what Jesus tells us: He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen. We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Prayer Composed by Pope Francis) I offer a simple prayer of blessing this morning for all of you on this Friday in May. I pray that you will be found rich today in the grace and presence of God. May your endeavors go well and be safe. May your interactions with others be blessed with the presence of God. May you enjoy your Friday and continue to navigate through these days in faith with a sense of hope. Peace in Christ’s Passion and Joy in the Risen and Ascended Lord…Fr. Paul My prayer for today is that all of us will have a good day wherever you might be. I pray today will be a day filled with the blessings upon family, friends, and us. That whatever we will be doing will bring joy, laughter, and peace to our life. I pray for blessings upon our work, and your experiences of life during this unusual time. I also pray for blessing upon those we love, those we will encounter in some way today. It is the beginning of the Memorial Day weekend, so we also want to prayer for all who sacrificed their lives for our nation and our world over the years. Those who fought for freedom, liberty and peace and gave the ultimate price of their life. May they now rest with God. Enjoy the day my friends, enjoy your Memorial Day weekend as best you can and know you are always in my prayers! Peace in Christ’s Passion and Hope in the Risen Lord…Fr. Paul
